An easy wholesome dinner for little tummies, I sometimes add in any meat we are having too!

Ingredients (serves 1)

  • 1/3 cup Tinned red kidney beans
  • 1/4 cup Diced pumpkin
  • 1/4 cup Diced sweet potato

Method

  1. Roast pumpkin and sweet potato and blend until smooth (add a little water if necessary)
  2. Mash kidney beans with a fork or in a blender depending on bubs age and mix in with vegetables, serve warm with toast soldiers on the side.

Notes

Legumes are a great addition to little diets

  • Squash is an American term – bet it’ll confuse some people.
