Simple dinner meals


Ingredients (serves 3)

  • 3 pcs Salmon
  • 3 tbs Vegetable oil
  • 1 cup Red Rice
  • 2 cup Water
  • A pinch Salt & pepper
  • Sweet chili sauce

Method

  1. Place rice in a saucepan with 2 cups water and bring to boil. Reduce heat and simmer covered for 35 minutes.
  2. Add oil to fry pan on high heat, place salmon the pan about 3 minutes each side or until cook well done.
  3. Serve Red Rice and Salmon with sweet chili dressing and garnish with shallot and bean sprout.

  • I have never seen or heard of red rice before – thank you for introducing me to the food! It could add an interesting slant to many other dishes too. I also like salmon recipes, so easy and quite healthy. I’d use a different sauce though – I’m so not a chilli person.
