Ingredients (serves 2)

  • 1 cup Sunflower seeds
  • 1/4 cup Tamari sauce (or to taste)

Method

  1. Cook sunflower seeds in pan over medium heat until they start hissing & popping.
  2. Stir seeds whilst at the same time slowly adding the tamari sauce.
  3. Continue to cook until seeds become separate then take pan off heat.
  4. Let cool down & enjoy.

Notes

My mum used to make these for me when I was growing up, I'm not sure where the recipe came from. Tamari sauce can be found in the health food aisle of supermarkets & is lighter in flavour than soy sauce.

  • Ooh love snacking on seeds. Never tried tamari sauce. Will have to give this a go.
