Ingredients

  • 1 packet fettuccine pasta
  • 1 jar alfredo sauce
  • 500 gm medium scallops
  • 1 small tin of champignon mushrooms, sliced
  • olive oil
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tsp italian seasoning
  • Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Cook fettuccine according to packet directions.
  2. In a pan over medium heat, heat oil and saute garlic, don't burn the garlic. Add in the scallops saute for 2 minutes, then add in the drained mushrooms, saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Pour in the alfredo sauce. Season it with Italian seasoning. Stir well and simmer for 5 minutes

  • Scallops are my absolute favourite seafood dish and Alfredo pasta is the ultimate comfort dish. So this is a match made in heaven. I would definitely make this for a date night in and pair it with a nice wine and maybe a yummy tirimisu for dessert. Thanks so much for sharing:)

  • Although this recipe does sound delicious I prefer my scallops plainer to enjoy their delicate taste. I thing you might lose their flavour in this dish.
