Notes

This way of cooking corned beef never fails. Delicious served with vegetables and hot mustard and leftovers are great for sandwiches or cold with salad.

  • I remember my Nanna making this and serving it up with white sauce. It became a favourite in my household too. Never tried it in a slow cooker before but I’m certainly willing to give it a go

  • A winter fave. I love cooking corned beef in my slow cooker and will no longer cook it any other way. So tender. It’s on high rotation throughout winter.

  • Will be doing this again soon. For a twist on taste, cook the silverside in apple cider rather than water – yum, yum. Just delicious. Thanks for bringing this dish back to mind.
