This is a poor mans take on the traditional Mediterranean dish
Ingredients (serves 6)
- 50g Cold smoked salmon
- 150g Greek yogurt
- 50g Cream cheese
- 1tsp Lime juice
- 1 pinch White pepper
- 1/2 tsp Extra virgin olive oil
- 1 Tiny drop of Cochineal extract
Method
- In a food processor blend all ingredients until smooth and creamy
- Add extra olive oil (extra virgin) for more of a gloss, and cochineal for more colour but try not to make it glow!
Notes
Traditionally made with, fish roe, bread crumbs, olive oil and seasonings, this dip is in its genuine form delicious, but I think this version is kinda ok too!
