Simply easy meal . And super tasty.
Best served with mashed potatoes or rice.
Ingredients (serves 4)
- 4 lamb shanks
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 2 large peeled onions
- 2 crushed garlic cloves
- 2 cups beef consomme
- 3/4 cup red wine
- 1/3 honey
- 2 tablespoons cold water
Method
- Brown lamb shanks and onion.
- Add all ingredients in to the slow cooker and cook for 6 hours
- Serve and enjoy. Add rosemary to garnish.
