A quick easy never fail cake recipe.
Ingredients (serves 12)
- 1 1/2cup self raising flour
- 2/3cup castor sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1/4cup milk
- 155g butter
- 1tsp vanilla extract
- FROSTING
- 1cup cream cheese
- 2cups icing sugar
- 1tsp lemon juice
Method
- Preheat oven to 180c. Combine flour, castor sugar, eggs, milk, butter and vanilla in a bowl. Mix until creamy. Pour into prepared tin cook for 30 minutes, or golden brown. Once cooked allow to cool completely before icing.
- Combine cream cheese, icing sugar and lemon mix until combined. Spread over the cooled cake decorate with 100's + 1000's.
Notes
I often make these into cupcakes and decorate with lollies for birthday parties!
