  • Cetaphil baby hair and body wash will buy again

    I was very excited when I received my package of the cetaphil baby wash and shampoo along with the sample sizes for friends (might I add very generous at 50 mls each) hubby used it first when he bathed our now 2 year old and squirted a heap I thought oh his so wasteful. My son enjoyed his bath and didn’t cry when it dripped onto his face as he often has before with other washes. The scent is not strong it is light and pleasent, it dosnt strip any moisture from your hands, hair and skin after use it still feels hydrated.His skin and hair was nice and clean fresh and not irritated.

    The only issue I have is that when I used the product the same thing happend as it did to hubby a big amount squirted out no matter how much pressure you apply a big amount always comes out. That would be my only complaint.

    Will definitely purchase this again I am hoping for different packaging or a pump bottle so we do not waste product.

  • Blows other brands out of the water!

    After using this product for a while I was so impressed with it that I found myself raving and recommending it to my mum friends. The bottle is well designed with grip and a dosage limit for washes. The wash is more fluid but lathers quickly and easily and is definitely tear free. My baby’s skin was left feeling buttery soft and smooth and her hair silky to the touch with a nice light layering of scent. Would definitely recommend it to other parents, it’s topped every other brand I’ve ever tried!

  • Tear free and super cleansing.

    I found cetaphil gentle bay wash and shampoo a joy to use. Makes quite a lot of bubbles when used in the bath and I loved the way it gently washed the children. It has a really beautiful fragrance and considering my 2 kidlets try to eat the bubbles and skull the bath water. I wasn’t concerned as I knew cetaphil was a mild and gentle product. It smells awesome! We also loved the body lotion. Made my bubs skin so soft!

  • Cetaphil Baby Wash

    A little of this product goes a long way and I’ve found it to be super gentle on his sensitive skin. It leaves his skin and hair super soft and hydrated and has a beautiful subtle scent. The bottle is very easy to use as it has little ripples that help as grip which is so useful especially when you have hands going everywhere getting bath ready!

    This was great for helping my eldest with her excema flareup over winter and is regularly used on my new baby’s skin. I even used this myself when I was pregnant and had excema and couldn’t use normal steroid creams, I won’t be Goiing back to use steroid creams now as this works great

  • Makes bathtime fun!!

    My son never liked to have his hair washed because he was afraid of shampoo stinging his eyes. When we got to sample Cetaphil Gentle Wash and Shampoo this changed everything because its tear free. Now my son loves to have his hair washed and will even do it himself with confidence that he won’t get any eye irritation.

    This stuff was sent from the heavens., my kids loved it. it was so gentle on their skin and has not one tear when it went in their eyes! Highly Recommend!
    I struggle to find a wash that helps for sensitive skin, but now I am glad I got the chance to review this product as it works wonders and I am now stocking up my cupboards with it.     So impressed with Cetaphil Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo. I used this on my 2 year old son and even my 8 year old daughter. My son suffers from dry skin which can become irritated at times. Cetaphil Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo was gentle on his sensitive skin and so moisturising.
    What I loved the most about Cetaphil Baby Gentle Wash & Shampoo, is the fact that you can use this product on their hair and body. No need to have numerous bottles to do different things. The no tear formula was a total hit with me. No more screams of “MY EYES, MY EYES” anymore.
    And it smells so good. Overall I would consider buying this product again in the future.

  • I use this for myself

    I have recently been diagnosed with cancer and so I am using these products as well as the baby water wipes.As I have to use products that are non drying, and gentle on my skin. I have been told that as soon as I start the radiation and chemo that the effects on my skin will be very harsh and drying. So I am getting products like these to assist me.

  • Perfect for baby skin

    My little boy gets dry skin from many different baby washes, his skin is not overly sensitive however he still seems to react. This wash though keeps his skin moisturised and oh so soft. I love that it is a wash and shampoo. It is gentle and smells amazing but is not overly perfumed.

    Loved trying the Cetaphil Gentle Baby Wash & Shampoo. Was gentle on bubs skin and left it silky smooth and hydrated which is a plus in winter. The design of the bottle makes it heaps easier to use while trying to deal with a baby in the bath. Have been using another leading brand but will definitely being buying this in the future!

‘They Taste Amazing, I’ll Definitely Be Stocking Up Again’

Having three young kids, juggling their commitments and her own as a school teacher means Kristie Young’s days revolve around snacking on-the-go. And she admits she’s not always reaching for the best options! So she was thrilled to try out new Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein Bars and says she’ll be restocking next time she’s shopping.

Kristie is right in the middle of one her busiest seasons of life – juggling three kids (two at school), a job, partner and household. But this year, she’s made a commitment to herself.

“I’m always running around. Always a million things on my to do list, but wouldn’t have it any other way.” Kristie told Mouths of Mums.

“But I’m turning 40 this year and I thought I really need to start prioritising myself, because for the last seven years, I’ve been pregnant, breastfeeding, busy with the kids, I have not looked after myself at all.

“So this year, I’m really starting to get back into my own fitness journey, health journey, and eating a lot better and starting to eat more regularly and eat more protein filled meals and snacks that will fill me up. So I’m not just reaching for sugary snacks, especially around that afternoon, where I’m getting tired from being awake with the baby all night and just finding myself reaching for junk in the cupboard.”

A self-confessed snacker, Kristie says her snacking habit is worse during school holidays when she’s constantly making in-between meals for the kids. So she decided to give Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein Bars a try, as part of the Mouths of Mums review team.

“They were actually filling. I like that they had eight grams of protein, because that’s something that I’m really trying to increase this year, having more protein. And they taste amazing, which is obviously great and I like that they have chocolate, because normally in the afternoon, I’m reaching for something sugary, something chocolatey, and this way I know I’m getting that protein hit as well. So they’re a bit more filling.

“They help me last until dinner time without reaching for all these other little snacks in between.”

“I also like that they’re easy to take out and about. So when I’m doing kinder drop off, dancing. I always pack snacks and food for the kids and forget myself. It’s been good put myself first and have something in the bag and on the go for me too.”

  • I rarely snack throughout the day and have an aversion to sweet things, anyway, so would not have tried these bars off my own bat. It is good to hear these reviews and that everyone liked them, but I still doubt I would buy a pack of 5 bars in case I didn’t like the sweetness of them. I avoid cakes when going out to coffee as well.

  • I’ve tried these too and found them filling and satisfying . They give me that chocolate fix that I crave but are small portions. I am trying to be healthier from now on too. Swimming every day and stopping the snacking. When I do have one of these it is planned.

  • Ive always l9ved the nice and natural bars and buy them quite often but I’m yet to try the deluxe protein bars. After reading this review and the comments ill definitely bevtrying them out as they sound delicious. I’m a bit of a sucker for caramel and chocolate so I know which ones ill be trying first!

  • These bars were soo good! I was hesitant thinking the added protein would make this taste funny or have a weird flavour but they taste amazing and are so addictive! I really enjoyed the cookies & cream flavour. They are super convenient to take on the go and are more filling!

  • It is always so great to hear and read other mum reviews of products. I love these muesli bars, they are so delicious and perfect to keep in your handbag or laptop bag for a snack at work or if you are on the go. This brand of muesli bars is one of my favourites as they have lots of flavour.

  • I trust your judgement Kristie so these will be put on my shopping list for my next trip for groceries. My son runs his own shop and he is always having muesli bars. I think these ones will be so much better for him health wise as well as being tasty.

My daughter is very much into protein rich foods currently (together with going to the gym) and I believe she has tried these bars as well. However the bars have not such high star rating and personally I consider them as not so healthy

  • Thank you Kristie for a very relatable and down to earth review with a lot of good detail. I found similar features with the bars when I reviewed them. The bars are not too hard and they are not too sweet which is terrific in a protein bar. These bars are now on our shopping list.

  • I was lucky enough to also receive Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein bars to taste and review. I was surprised with the taste and the texture of the bars. Salted caramel, cashew and choc is my favorite flavour and one of these bars with a cuppa for morning or afternoon tea is simply so satisfying.
