I wouldnt use anything else but Dove have used many other brands but this is the only one that works for me. Dove Original Deodorant provides me with 24 hrs protection & its so gentle on my skin which i like. It dosent irritate after shaving as well like other brands do. Will always be using Dove & recoomend to anyone that has also sensetive skin i love this product 🙂

When the dove deodorant arrived it looked like a lot of others on the market, when I tried it I found it had a nice smell and wasn’t too overpowering, I first tried it after I shaved under my arms and for the first time had no irritation, after applying. This is now my go to deodorant… I love how is was long lasting and I didn’t need to re – apply and most of all LOVED THAT I HAD NO WHITE MARKS!!! Awesome love Dove..

It is perfect for me because I look for a deodorant that:
* is gentle on my skin
* absorbs quickly so that I am not left with wet underarms
* has a pleasant fragrance which is subtle enough that it doesn’t overpower any perfume I wear, yet is still complimentary if I do not choose to wear a perfume.
Dove have created a wonderful product, which not only works extremely well at delivering 24hr protection, and is gentle on the skin, but is really refreshing as well.

Just received it in the post today so only used for the first time but have to review by today. I was very keen to try though as so many others irritate my skin. Dove Original Deodorant Roll On is my deodorant of choice.
This deodorant smells fresh, and is not at all overpowering as other deodorants can be. Dove deodorant roll on doesn’t give me that sticky and glugy feeling under my arms and best of all, there’s none of those unsightly yellow stains on my clothing.
I trust Dove Original Deodorant Roll-On to keep me dry and buy this brand as my usual deodorant.

I purchased this product not that long ago and was very pleased with it! The smell is pleasant, it feels light on and not sticky and lasts a long time. It is very gentle on the skin for which I am grateful as I have sensitive skin. This is a real bonus as o lot of other deodorants I have used tend to give me a rash. Me my daughter and my grand daughter all use dove. .. In fact I play sport and dove protects me .. I have never ever had a smell even on the hottest of days .. My daughter and my nine year old grand daughter use dove ..my grand daughter being a big girl .. She loves her pink dove … As being a little girl in a big girls body loves pink .. I wasn’t selected for this review but use Dove roll on fairly regularly. I actually prefer the go fresh version as I find the scent isn’t as strong. However it is a soothing deodorant, not harsh on the skin especially after shaving. If lasts for a long time and isn’t sticky. It sometimes does leave some residue on clothes though.

I love using Dove Original Deodorant, and have done so for years! It’s very gentle on my skin and provides the protection I need. Every time I decide to try something different (perhaps because I’m sucked in by the pretty packaging), I ALWAYS go back to Dove Original. Nothing seems to be as gentle on my skin, and I will end up with red dots and irritation. Dove Original is part of my daily routine.

I generally use Dove Original Deodorant Roll-On once a day, after my shower. I find that I don’t need to reapply it throughout the day.
Dove Original Deodorant Roll-On is kind to my skin and I haven’t had any issues in using it.
As I do not shave under my arms, I cannot comment whether Dove Original Deodorant Roll-On reduces the irritation of shaving.
I love using Dove Original Deodorant Roll-On and buy it on a regular basis.

While not a sweaty or smelly person, I always tend to find that in the summer most deodorants fail to cover you with just a single application, this is not the case with dove. With a pleasant smell, no white marks and a seeming ability to reduce shaving irritation I have been a converted user of this product for a while now. I would never consider changing either because why would I want to fix what already works. I.look forward to many years of being confidently protected by dove

This is a nice deodorant, but my skin is particularly sensitive and I found that this felt unpleasant after shaving and led to irritation. I wasn’t surprised, as this happens with most deodorants. For people with normal skin, though, I think this would be a reasonable choice for an everyday deoderant.

Summer beach and pool days are core childhood memory creators, but getting the kids out the door, not so much! From wrestling wriggly toddlers into rashies to arguing with teens trying to dodge sunscreen and cramming half the house into the car, the exhaustion can kick in before we’ve even set foot on the sand!

Pack Smart, Not Big
Do you feel like you take waaayyy too much when you head to the beach or pool, and then you seem to forget a couple of key things that would have made life so much easier?

Get Safety Sorted Before The Fun Starts
It’s pretty hard to get the kids’ attention once you’re at the beach or pool, so the safety talk should really start at home. Our mums recommend chatting to the kids about:
Swimming between the flags at the beach
Setting a meeting spot in case anyone gets separated
Sunscreen: Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes before heading outdoors. And set alarms to reapply every two hours throughout the day. Reapply immediately after swimming or using a towel.
Applying sunscreen at the start of the day and regularly throughout is so important, but it usually causes the most arguments. Kids don’t want to stop, teens assure you they ‘did it already’.

Prep & Time It Perfectly
There’s nothing worse than kids itching to get to the beach while you’re trying to remember everything you need to pack – it makes everyone frazzled. So get prepped early – even the night before. Snacks are a must, but it can be tricky to know what’s going to survive a hot, Aussie summer day – and what’s good for hungry tummies. Here’s what our mums recommend:

Boiled eggs
Drink bottles that have been frozen overnight
“We have a few allergies/intolerances, so being prepared with food is helpful and saves us the search and some money. I pre-chop carrots, cucumber, apples, boiled egg, in a handy separating container, a packet of chips, dip, and bring water bottles. If it’s a longer day planned at the beach I’ll bring lunch too.” – MoM Member
A chaos-free beach day. Yes please!
You don’t need a military-style plan to enjoy a sunny day out. A beach trolley, some prep, and an easy sunscreen like SmartMist™ are enough to help things run calmly – or at least calm-ish!
Always read the label and follow the directions for use. Wear protective clothing, a hat and sunglasses in addition to sunscreen. Reapply frequently every 2 hours or more often when sweating and immediately after swimming or using a towel. Avoid prolonged high-risk sun exposure.

My biggest tip is to be very clear who’s watching the kids, especially when they’re in the water. Like, actually verbally hand over and make sure it’s acknowledged if you’re going somewhere (like to the bathroom). That can definitely save lives, but also save panics about lost kids in crowded spaces.
Some really good tips here! I had no idea about the talcum powder hack – who would have known! That is amazing and I will definitely try it next time we go to the beach! It is definitely worthwhile getting things ready the night before though, especially if you want to leave before midnight lol.
