  • No Nasties!

    This hand soap is incredible. For those who don’t know, many soaps on the shelves contain toxic preservatives and fragrances that can lead to health issues. But don’t worry! This Freshwater Farm range has simple ingredients and is scented with real essential oils. Made here in Australia.
    I would highly highly recommend you to check the ingredients of your soap and swap out the nasties for this gorgeous product.

  • Beautiful range of products

    Wow, the products in the Freshwater Farms range are absolutely beautiful! I feel like I’ve walked right out of a spa day after using them.
    They have a fresh, clean scent to them and are quite gentle on my skin – my skin gets irritated really easily if I use the wrong products but these didn’t irritate me at all.
    My skin felt clean, hydrated and soft after each use which is something that’s really important to me especially with the ageing process, I want something a little more gentle which is what this brings.
    I love how simple but pretty the packaging is as well so they would definitely make a lovely gift.

    I adore these products, the smell divine and my skin feels so nourished after using them, the product is nice and thick. My bathroom smells amazing just by having the products in there. My only advice is the products are beautifully packaged but once the body wash label gets wet it starts to peel off. I’d definitely recommend this to anyone.

    I’m in love with the Freshwater farm products! When I opened the box – the scent was just amazing. I love how it’s an Australian family owned and operated. The product benefits the skin and also includes distilled essential oils. It leaves your skin smooth smelling lovely. The product is also not tested on animals. Beautiful product x

  • Beautifully scented and very moisturising

    A beautifully packaged product which has a lovely lemon oil scent. Due to Covid, we have been using way more hand wash than ever before! And my skin is definitely paying for the constant hand washing. We were using a general antibacterial hand wash before we tried Freshwater Farm and it has made such a difference! Not only does it look lovely on my sink but it has also added so much moisture back to my hands. I am not a massive fan of bars of soap as I don’t like the dry feeling they leave on my skin but this bar definitely doesn’t do that and has the same lovely scent ☺️ Having a toddler and being pregnant with my second has also made me open my eyes to the amount of chemicals added to a lot of the products we use on our skin so to find a lovely scented product that is free from nastiest and Australian made was a real bonus! Would definitely recommend this product ☺️

  • Finally a Soothing and hydrating hand wash

    The Lemon myrtle oil + Manuka Honey castile hand wash is soothing on my hands. Being rich in antioxidants and hydrating properties I can wash away the day and not worry about my dry hands cracking.
    Have I mentioned how delicious it smells AND it’s Australian made.

  • WOW! Just WOW!

    The first word that came out of my mouth when I first used the Freshwater Rose Water and Pink Clay handwash was “WOW”. This is a premium quality product that is so gentle on the skin. The amount of lather on the hand after using a tiny drop of the handwash, that wonderful rosewater and clay smell… that just leaves you with a happy feeling. And top of that, the fragrance stays with you after you wash your hand. My whole bathroom is fragranced. Love this product. Superb stuff. And , the this not tested on animals, is natural. These guys have ticked all the boxes of making it a great product.

  • Clean ingredients

    We have been using the Freshwater Farm soaps for a while know and love them. I try had to reduce chemicals in our home so that’s why I tried these. They have clean ingredients so I know that our bodies won’t suffer by using them. We love that they haven’t got an overly strong smell but are still beautiful.

  • The rose soap is DIVINE!

    Not your typical rosy scented bar of soap, this is different, it felt like showering in a field of roses. Moisturising and soft, it was effective as well as didn’t strip away all moisture from my body. Will definitely purchase again and try the range of products. Good for the whole family.

    I absolutely love the Freshwater Farm soaps. They are such a true Australian brand highlighting the beauties of this countries. I love the Lemon Myrtle Oil and Makuna Honey hand soap. It makes everyone wash their hands in my home! I get so many compliments on the scent and how gorgeous the bottle is.   • Incredibly fresh and clean

    Loving freshwater farm castille hand wash in lemon myrtle. The bottle is nice and the gel smells is lemony myrtle-y. Been enjoying hand washing no matter how frequent I do it because it does not dry out my skin. It maintains the softness by moisturising it, so soft that the towel glides.

  • Loving and saving the soap

    Its funny that after months of getting the foam wash and soap I have not opened the soap yet. I so love the scent as its truly refreshing and makes my wardrobe smelling citrusy and sweet. Have placed it with my house clothes and it brightens my day knowing my clothes smells absolutely fresh. Cant thank enough Freshwater for it.

    I have recently purchased the rosewater and pink clay soap. It is absolutely divine. It has a lovely soft scent and feels very soft and luscious on the hands.

    The lemon myrtle oil and manukau honey products in the fresh water farm products is my favourite. It leaves my skin soft and smooth,with a calming smell . I have tried other products from this range and I would highly recommend. This range is in a good price range for anyone.I find the bars of soap in this range seem to last longer than other brands.

    This soap is my absolute favourite now. The bars are such a big size and they last a lot longer then other soaps I have used. The smell is divine and sticks around on your skin keeping you smelling great.
    Reccomend to everyone! They are also a very reasonable price for what they are.

Summer beach and pool days are core childhood memory creators, but getting the kids out the door, not so much! From wrestling wriggly toddlers into rashies to arguing with teens trying to dodge sunscreen and cramming half the house into the car, the exhaustion can kick in before we’ve even set foot on the sand!

But there are some very clever tips that will make even the most stressful summer days smooth sailing – and the Mouths of Mums community know them all! Which is why we asked our mums for their hints, hacks and tips – from sand removal to stress-free sunscreen application (we’re going to introduce you to the fabulous new Banana Boat SmartMist Sunscreen Sprays that will make your life so much easier). 

You’ll want to take note before you next hit the beach or pool!

Pack Smart, Not Big

Do you feel like you take waaayyy too much when you head to the beach or pool, and then you seem to forget a couple of key things that would have made life so much easier?

Our Mouths of Mums community swear by this fab list of essentials which should be in every mum’s beach kit, and

  • A plastic bag for wet towels and bathers
  • A dry bag for clothes
  • A bucket or basin to wash off sandy toys
  • A ‘clean zone’, sand-free blanket or mat for eating and changing
  • A pop-up tent for changing
  • Waterproof phone case
  • Talcum powder to get sticky, wet sand off little feet. Just pop it on and brush it off – it’s magic!
  • A hand-held car vac for quick sand cleanups!

Get Safety Sorted Before The Fun Starts

It’s pretty hard to get the kids’ attention once you’re at the beach or pool, so the safety talk should really start at home. Our mums recommend chatting to the kids about:

  • Swimming between the flags at the beach
  • Setting a meeting spot in case anyone gets separated
  • Sunscreen: Always apply sunscreen 20 minutes before heading outdoors. And set alarms to reapply every two hours throughout the day. Reapply immediately after swimming or using a towel. 

Applying sunscreen at the start of the day and regularly throughout is so important, but it usually causes the most arguments. Kids don’t want to stop, teens assure you they ‘did it already’.

Prep & Time It Perfectly

Snacks are a must, but it can be tricky to know what’s going to survive a hot, Aussie summer day – and what’s good for hungry tummies. Here’s what our mums recommend:

  • Chopped fruit
  • Crackers
  • Boiled eggs
  • Drink bottles that have been frozen overnight

“We have a few allergies/intolerances, so being prepared with food is helpful and saves us the search and some money. I pre-chop carrots, cucumber, apples, boiled egg, in a handy separating container, a packet of chips, dip, and bring water bottles. If it’s a longer day planned at the beach I’ll bring lunch too.” – MoM Member
