I clean the toilets daily and sometimes even more as I am in the process of toilet training my little boy. I wanted something that could remove any yucky smells and something that could help minimise the toilet cleaning. Not only did it remove the smell but I’m finding I only have to clean the toilet every second day if I want to.
With having boys with Crohns it’s important that I keep my toilet as clean as possible and this is great it’s real value for money it does what it says its going to do .. And the smell is not over powering with some times boys hanging over the bowl being sick…it’s easy to use. I must still clean every day but now I am not running into the two toilets after the boys have been .. And it’s really helps with the sour odour. So yes a very good product.

I have used harpic for years and its the only one that i keep buying, i find its the only one that makes the toilet bowl stay clean and fresh, i have tried many others over the years and keep coming back to my trusted harpic, i would recommend it.

I also purchase the garpuc gel this is great for added cleanness it made my toilet sparkling.

I don’t seem to have to clean the bowl as frequently as I once did and it leaves my loo smelling, well not like a toilet!
Fitting the toilet block to the loo is fairly straightforward and simple and once it’s finished, it’s easy to remove. Not any fuss at all.
In regards to how long it lasts, the majority of the time it seems to last a while however, every now and then, it just goes! Hmm, not sure about this bit!?

I use the harpic toilet blocks all the time. I really like the yellow lemon fragrance but only last week bought the green ones for a change. They definitely make a difference. They are easy and non messy to use and at around $2.50 each they are value for money. I use them and recommend them to all.
i used this product and i was highly impressed. it offered everything that it promised and my toilet actually smelled good and was staying cleaner than it had in a very long time. the price was good and competitive to most other products within that market but there is a but: it does not last nearly as long as the other products within this market. based on the longevity of the product and compared to those of a similar price the competitor tends to work out better as these dissolve easily and need to be replaced far more frequently. i would love to buy and use this product, and if it lasted longer i certainly would
I find that the Harpic Bleach hygienic toilet block really works. It keeps the loo looking and smelling fresh all the time. I find it easy to use and fairly long lasting. You still need to clean your loo properly but with Harpic Bleach Hygienic I’m able to stretch out that clean for longer and the toilet still looks great.
I love using Harpic Bleach Hygienic in my loo. Since using Harpic Bleach Hygienic my toilet stays cleaner for longer, and there is no unpleasant or nasty odours. I normally use a Harpic Hygenic in my loo but since using one with bleach in it, I won’t be going back to the basic ones. Having it contain bleach has kept my loo cleaner for longer, my loo always smells fresh and its great to know my loo is clean in case of unexpected visitors. I was able to easily locate the product on the shelf and was happy with the price of the product. Some products were cheaper and some more expensive; however; I want a quality product. I have placed it as instructed in the toilet and am happy with the results so far. Will give the product a week to trial.
this product is ok and keeps the bowl clean however does not keep the rim u der the bowl clean. The actual container can get dirty which is really grosse and I threw it out half way through use as faces was on it. The price is in medium price I feel it is ok product but still needed to use other products also to keep my toilet clean. I also used a second one and it got stuck in the plumbing and we hand to get a plumber out to come and get it so I don’t recommend this product for my family.
i bought this Harpic bleach cleaner last month from coles, It is a good product and i don’t need to worry about the toilet cleaning daily, it is hygienic and cleans the toilet good, it makes shine and removes odor as well, I worry before when my child uses the toilet about hygienic but now i am confident about the toilet and i have included in my list priority to buy now. it is easy to use and it is good value for money as well..

I purchased this product as anything that promises to reduce the amount of time I have to spend cleaning toilets if welcome in this house, I was disappointed with the product as I always use Harpic products, I think I have become used to having a Blue Loo and just having a little froth on the water did not do it for me!! I did like the basket less idea, however if this was with a lavender or some nice fragrance I would be more impressed, so basically this just did not provide what I like, which is a blue loo, that smells nice, I would not consider it good value as I have to buy other products to complete my process!! I think it did keep it cleaner but not to any great degree as with sons it still needs checking several times a day, I do not think I would buy again unless they improved it, made it smellier and blue!!
This toilet cleaner works so well because it has bleach in it. It keeps the toilet clean for the most part and makes it easy to clean when it is dirty. I’ve never been a fan of the cage blocks that hang around in your toilet and gather germs and just look generally horrible after a short amount of time. Let alone having to change the block inside (thats a glove job). The harpic blocks are fantastic. They last for a long time, smell fresh and clean and when its over, you just chuck the stick in the bin and pop another brand new block on the toilet.

I had issues with my son pooping a lot as a newborn. Sometimes it can be really hard to keep the rash at bay if you have a child that is constantly doing that. There is some acidity in the excrement and that can cause burning before it’s even been against their skin for long. I used to use paw paw cream on him and that worked best as a barrier.
Nappy Rash can be so raw and painful and i always worried so much when our babies had a bout of it. I remember trying so many things but always found good old petroleum jelly used regularly would help in keeping it at bay. There are some great suggestions in the article.
I did find that not all nappy rash creams are as good as each other. After trialing many brands I settled on Sudocrem as the best for me and my baby. Changing nappies frequently and air time is also very important.
There are so many common sense tip in this article and they are tips that we followed. We kept everything as natural as possible on very soft and sensitive skin. We went with plenty of nappy free times and we were very fortunate to not encounter issues with nappy rash.

Even though I agree that prevention is key, I also think it’s important to have a good barrier cream to hand to help at the first signs of trouble. There are lots of good brands, you can pick any really that suits your baby’s skin. But use it liberally when you need it!

Nappy rash is horrible and prevention is definately better than cure. This is a fantastic article with some great tips. Especially the changing of the nappy frequently. Unfortunately sometimes especially once they’re on solids and their poops get yucky a little nappy rash can be unavoidable in which case a small amount of sudocreme clears it up quickly.
We found that changing nappies frequently was key for us. And once the kids starting sleeping for long periods at night, we started using the really good quality nappies – Huggies, as it happens – while cheaper nappies were still okay for the day and frequent changes. Nappies do vary! .
This is a really great reminder that nappy rash can happen but there are some great tips to help try and avoid it. I use to do a lot of nappy free time with my daughter when we were home as she had sensitive skin and I layered the barrier cream on all the time, especially at night.
