Great quality and a great price! I’ve never had an issue with leaking. The cut of the nappy fits well with my baby. I can trust that these nappies are going to do what they are suppose to do. I’ve been through most nappies on the market but you really can’t go past these!

  • Use these regularly

I use cloth nappies 80% of time but when I dont these are what I buy. They are super affordable, bub doesnt get any leaks or rashes, super absorbant and they are a generous size. My BF boy is on the bigger size of things and these are made with generous coverage all over. Definitely on my shopping list.

  • Cheap AND amazing quality!

I moved to these nappies after using a more expensive brand that I just wasn't happy with. The only disappointment I have is that I didn't make the switch sooner. The Little Ones nappies are fantastic! The price is great, the quality is great, the spotty designs is perfect for my obsession with polka dots! Honestly fantastic nappies all round, we will be using these for a long time to come and I have already started recommended them to all my friends with babies.

  • Second baby and still these are best value nappies

My first daughter had these nappies until she was toilet trained and my second daughter, now 4 years on, is using these too. They are the best value for money in my opinion. Great quality, good price and I don't use anything else. Neither child has ever had nappy rash and I've not had any major leaks from using these nappies. Highly recommended.

  • Fantastic product at a great price!

These are fantastic nappies and for such a great price. I highly recommend this brand to anyone looking for a good quality nappy at a very affordable price. The elastic at the back and around the legs helps to ensure you won't have any unfortunate 'blowouts'. They are comfortable and don't leave any marks on your little ones skin. They also hold quite a bit of moisture!

  • Best nappies by far!

We started using little ones nappies just over 18 months ago when my daughter started getting really bad eczema and reactions for the current brand we used. These nappies have not only stopped the nappy rash for her but they last all night long no leaks and are great value for money. We now also use them for our newborn.

  • Great value, great nappies!

I often buy these when I can't get to Aldi to buy my usual nappies. I think they are great - they don't irritate my bub's sensitive skin, I've never had leakage problems & they are great value. With so many cheap but high quality nappies on the market nowadays, I really can't see how the expensive brands are still in business!

  • Only nappy with stops night leaks

I switched to little ones about six months ago when my son was consistently wetting through his huggies overnight. I tried loads of brands but these ones are the only ones which seem to hold in his night wees. It's just an added bonus they are cheap too! I'll be starting my second baby out on these from day one!

  • Amazing nappies

We have been using Little ones nappies for the last 12 months with our daughter. We started using them when she was around 12 months old as we just had her diagnosed for eczema and were trailing nappies that would notbset her eczema off as much in her nappy area we tried firstly Aldi brand which left a horrible smell and smelt of chemicals and made her skin worse, we then tried Coles comfy bots but they just didn't seem to hold as well over night. We then tried the little ones and they have been amazing for our daughter. Never had them leak and her skin is the best it has been in a long time.

  • Absorbent nappy that is Australia made

The best thing about these nappies is the fact they are one of the only Australian Made nappies. I prefer to support local manufacturing. They are a decent price, really absorbent and comfortable fitting. Including a wetness indicator to help to see if the nappy had been wet at all. I use these in conjunction with reusable nappies. They are great for overnights.

  • Disappointed

They used to be amazing size with a lot of give an now they’re very small sizing! In one packet they have mixed sizing and some are a lot smaller than the other with a lot less give!

What about the chunky babies? The ones with thick thighs! My son used to wear these and have a lot of room left an didn’t cut in, now they don’t fit and dig into his sides leaving marks. We used to love these nappies an now just like other brands were left disappointed

  • I love this product

Little one’s nappy from Woolworths are great fit and on budget product. The best quality and that too in reasonable amount of money. They are leak proof and gentle on my little one skin. They also have indicator so I don’t have to check nappy again and again. Overall I love this product.

  • Never again

I would never purchase Little One's nappies again. The newborn size nappies were terribly thin, made of scratchy feeling material and leaked constantly. They might be cheap, but I had to use at least twice as many as more premium brands, making any potential savings negligible. Would not recommend this brand.

I switched to these when my boy was 12 months old as the ones I was using would not last all night, these not only lasted all night but they didn’t cause any nappy rash. After going through several cheaper nappy bags and nappy backpacks I finally caved and bough Little ones Nappy and I absolutely love love love it ❤️ Have three kids And im satisfied mom.

We use Little Ones Even for night they are great. No leaks, no urine smell, and they fit well.

They are apparently much better from an environmental point of view & less chemicals on little bottoms.

  • Great nappies

I use little ones along with another charity brand and cloth nappies. I find them great and definitely great value for money compared to other brands.

I do find that the outside of the nappy feels wet if I’ve let them get on the more full side, but otherwise a great nappy brand.

  • Little ones

I personally didnt like the nappies. My daughter needed to be changed very frequently and when she did number twos, it was common for them to explode out the sides. These nappies would be great for maybe the first two weeks of a baby but that's all. Unsure if the bigger sizes are better or not

  • Okay

These nappies are okay, but I find they leak if you don't change them every two to three hours which can be annoying although they are cheap and dont give my son nappy rash so I use them while I'm just at home during the day and use baby love when I'm going out or at night.

  • Good nappy for the price

I tried little nappies to see how they compare to coles comfy bots or Aldi nappies for a lower priced nappy and they were pretty good. I didn't find them great for overnight use - my baby usually sleeps through the night and the first night we used these, coincidence or not she wet through them and woke up. I guess you get what you pay for.

  • Great Nappies However the Sizing is a Little Small

I love these nappies as they are very affordable, does not stink, and great for night time use as well. However the downside is the sizing is a little smaller than other brands. Hence if I usually use 10-15kg size with other brands, I have to get the 12-17kg size with Little One nappies. It is still great nappies overall, but wish that the size could be more true to size.

  • Inexpensive, not for sensitive skin

I found these great value for money. They hold up well for their price range, don't emit smells strongly if baby has dirtied them and are easy to use (tab design). You get a good amount of nappies for each stage in every pack and they aren't plastic feeling like many of the cheaper brands can be. However, my bubs started having skin reaction to them when we got halfway through the pack (her skin reddened and had little rash like bumps across the front of her abdomen). I had to atop using these and switch back to a higher proved brand but had she not had a problem with these I'd have happily switched to using them over our current brand.

  • Don't waste your time

I decided to try these for our daughter as they are budget friendly but after only using half the pack we had already had 4 leaks and an explosion like I have never seen. I have used other brands and have had less problems so I would definitely NOT recommend these nappies to anyone. They may be cheap but they are also a cheap quality. How to choose the best lunch box for school

When you’re searching for a kids’ lunch box, take the time to work out what will best suit their needs. If you make the right choice and invest in a quality one, it will last many years.

  • Box, bento or bag? If your child doesn’t like different foods touching, a bento lunch box is a great choice. Also, think about whether they prefer cut-up or whole fruit; a bento is better suited to cut food, while bags and boxes suit whole fruit. Bags are fantastic if you like to pack separate containers, like smaller bento or snack containers.
  • Freshness is a must – An insulated bag or box will keep everything cool and fresh until snack and lunchtime. But you can also get boxes that come with cold and ice packs. Remember, kids’ lunches often sit at room temperature for up to 5 or 6 hours before they’re eaten, so insulation and coolness are important. Check out how to keep school lunches safe in the heat.
  • Easy-to-clean design – Check if the box is dishwasher-safe, or for lunch bags, if they’re machine-washable.
  • Leak-proof – The last thing you want is a soggy mess at lunchtime, so if buying a hard lunch box, look for designs that are leak-proof with proper seals.
  • Child-friendly – Depending on your child’s motor skills and independence, you may need to start with a product that’s simple to open and close.
  • The right size – We tend to pack way too much in our kids’ lunches, so think about how much realistically you’ll need to pack for your child when choosing the size of their lunch box. You may also need to consider the size of their school bags.

What to put in kids’ lunch boxes

Health professionals agree that kids need a good balance of lean protein, grains, fruit and vegetables throughout the school day. Skip the processed food and try to reach for whole foods that pack a punch in the nutrient department. Here are some great ideas:

  • Grilled chicken or turkey wraps with fresh salad
  • Crackers and vegetable sticks with healthy dips like hummus
  • Whole-grain pasta with cherry tomatoes and your choice of cheese
  • Zucchini slice cut into rectangles for easy stacking in an insulated box
  • Almond-meal slice with raspberries or blueberries – or both!
  • Vegetarian sausage rolls – these freeze well and make a great meat-free lunch when cold.

  • That lunchbox comparison table is handy to have. It helped me make a decision on which lunchbox to buy next for my daughter who is starting kindergarten. I needed to upgrade her lunchbox but wasn’t sure which way to go. The table helped me with my decision. I ended up going with the BBOX and have found a cheaper lunch bag from a department store that it fits in.

  • I do not know if anyone else has picked up on this or not, but every bag mentioned in the table above is a ‘designer’ brand. There are plenty of more affordable options that aren’t over $40. I have never spent that much on a lunchbox – even from Smiggle. The cheaper brands last just as well too.

  • Getting ready for the return to school has started to kick in so this was a timely read. We have the yum box and i love it, it is so easy for my daughter to open and close on her own. I find the lunch cooler bags also a great idea however some days depending on what else needs to go to school, they can be quite bulky to include in the school bag. I need to do some more research this year as i like the idea of being able to watch it in the washing machine, that is a clever idea.

  • Along with all of the other back to school products; there is also a good range of lunch boxes available for people to buy. It has been fun to see the wide range of bottles and lunch boxes that are available for the new year for school and for work.

  • Lunch boxes have come such a long way since my eldest was a kid, he’s now 26! There’s really a solution to everything from food heating, cooling, dividers, pockets etc etc. Lunch boxes are a real fashion accessory and so on-trend these days. I personally love the Bento lunch boxes. They save on plastic and separate different foods.

  • I am such a huge fan of Bento lunch boxes and Bento. Food should be so many wonderful things; including delicious, fun, colourful and nutritious too. Lunch is a favourite meal because the body is ready for some more calories and a boost of energy. Food looks so good in Bento lunch boxes.

  • So so many fantastic options! We use the montii co ones for our kdis and swear by it. Its lasted 3 years so far and still standing strong, like new since the first day using it. They are so durable and i find cleaning them to be the easiest for us.

  • There are so many great lunch box option out there indeed ! I’ve always liked the Bento style lunch boxes for my kids. It reduces the use of plastic lunch bags and packaged food which aren’t very good for the environment and it encourages to present a good variety of foods (which is not only better nutrition wise but lao to prevent our kids from getting bored with same foods all the time.

  • There are some really fabulous options here. So many variations of colour, shape and size. I love the bento style lunch boxes, so handy to keep food separate and eliminate the use of plastic packaging. The machine washable bags are a great idea too. They can get grubby so fast, this would be so much easier to maintain

  • This has gotten much easier since my kids hit high school – they have strong opinions about their lunch boxes, so I don’t have to think about it so much anymore! However, I am strongly in favor of bento style boxes regardless of their age. They’re easy to clean, easy to pack, and invite appropriate sized portions.

  • Great article! Our kids are so lucky, when it comes to lunchboxes, they really are spoilt for choice. There are so many to pick from. Regarding sandwiches, my eldest son, used to hate sandwiches for school lunches. It wasn’t until many years later that I discovered that he’d throw out his sandwiches in the playground bins. My son’s an adult now and he still hates sandwiches. He only likes “hot” lunches. So glad he lives on his own now and can make his own “hot” lunches just the way he likes them.

  • This is super useful article and thank you. I can see so variety of lunch boxes from every store. Always wonder which one would be more convenient to use by little hands. I love some of these lunchboxes to give it a try for this year. And then decide to go with suitable ones

  • Wow, lunch boxes have really come such a long way from when I was taking a lunch box to school. Feel old, like “back in my day”, but we were lucky to have options like are available now. While I like some of these designs, I feel like they aren’t super practical.

  • These lunchboxes are beautiful but are they really worth the expensive price tag? I have been through so many lunch boxes and bags over the years and found the best it to use an insulated lunchbox bag with ice brick and use small containers to keep individual items fresh and assessable.

  • I love the bbox lunch boxes. They are so reliable and tough when kids throw their bags around. Easy to wash and store. I have used the we can be tiny snackies at home too. The boys love choosing a certain animal shape. They wash well, are durable and great quality.

  • My kids are old enough now to pack their own lunches and I am so happy to see the great choices they are making. They take left over meals, cook food in the morning to take and now I am confident they aren’t throwing away sandwiches! I do have the chilly bags for them, I find they fit better into bags

  • Love our bento b.boxes. So easy to pack. I do however worry that they’re made of plastic, not metal….

  • My daughter uses a bento box now for work and sometimes an insulated bag in summer, but when she was at school it was a rectangular lunch box with no compartments. It was very easy to wash each day, just the box and lid, and it could still be filled with rolls/sandwiches and snacks.

  • Lunchboxes are so important these days. Back in my day it was a brown paper bag or the exact same lunch box that everyone else had and there were three compartments. Today its such a fashion statement and as much as the lunchbox itself is judged so are the contents.
