I tried this sponge out on my pots and pans after dinner. I had tried my normal sponge scourer and when it just wasn’t doing the job I gave the oats sponge scourer a go and it was super easy. It got the baked on grease off the pans and left no scratches.

Anti-bacterial sponge scours make washing up a Little Less stubborn
Oates anti bacterial sponge scour are a great effective must have for every kitchen. The scouring pad on the back of the sponge makes cleaning that stubborn food off the pots and dishes a breeze without the damage of scratches. They are not so abrasive and scrubs gently but effectively. Also great for the kitchen benches, oven and bathroom. Makes the washing up and removing soap scum from bathrooms so much easier and shinier. Although my sponge scour pack of 3 did have one pad with manufacturing defect (some of green scour pad missing) but still didn’t effect the cleaning lol

The yellow sponge and green scourer are a staple in most households and Ive had my fair share of them. These are great quality and last more than a few uses while retaining their shape and scouring ability. Fantastic for a wide range of jobs around the home and got my roasting dishes looking great again while minimal effort.

The Oates Anti-Bacterial Sponge Scourer is heaven sent. It has anti-bacterial properties so it’s very safe to use on my bub’s plates, cups and utensils. The scourer side is quite tough on removing stubborn, dry grimes on my dishes and pans while the sponge side is very absorbent especially when I’m cleaning the kitchen sink, dining table, stove top.

I find the metal scourers scratch my pots and pans apart which ruin them. I love these are soft enough not to leave any marks but that they are also strong enough to remove stuck on pieces of food. The added on sponge I love helps clean other dishes etc cups and plates. These are so handy in the kitchen because the dual sponge and scourer in the one product makes such a difference to how long it takes to clean up in the kitchen.

I feel like if you have tried one scourer you have tried them all.
This worked just like most others it did the job it was made to do,but I found the straight rectangle shape along with the size annoying to work with and I have fairly large hands. I feel like they need some curves on the side to give you a better hold of the sponge and make it more ergonomic.

I use similar sponges and after trying to clean an oven tray with a lot of baked on cheese and grease I was almost ready to give up. Then I tried these antibacterial sponge-scourers and couldn’t believe how much better they cleaned it off and without scratching! I’m definitely sticking with these from now on! We’ve been using this all week with the dishes and it’s held up really well, it almost looks like new. There’s no smell, it’s kept it’s shape & we like that it’s a big larger than other brands. It’s also done well cleaning the bathroom.

It’s a good size , shape and is antibacterial, didn’t leave a horrible smell after just one use like other brands I have tried !
Less elbow was used when scrubbing the dirty pots after making eggs especially!

Been using these and similar products for many years and I love them. The sponge is effective and gentle for getting rid of all normal foods, dirts and grime off all surfaces. Flip it over and the scour will get those hard to get off those baked on messes. Oh … And they are antibacterial too for added incentive to uae them.

The Oates Anti-Bacterial Sponge Scourer is good quality and effective. It doesn’t feel flimsy or fall apart after a few washes. It is a good size and shape and easy to handle. As for the anti-bacterial part, it is hard to judge whether or not it really did help in that aspect, but the fact that it is advertised as being anti-bacterial makes me feel better because I feel less germs are building up in my sponge.

I used my sponge mainly in the kitchen and the bathroom so far!! The dirtiest places in the house when you have 2 kids. I don’t always have time to clean before work so sometimes the dining table only gets cleaned after work and still has weetbix stuck to it ???? Same with the pans! A nightmare! Well I used the hard side of the brush and it cleaned the dining table so quick without me having to scrub like crazy!! So so happy! I also used it on my sink and on to all the pans which again worked amazing. I have now put a sponge in the bathroom too just for a quick antibacterial wipe up of the sink at the end of day. The Sponge seem to hold as well and don’t deteriorate after 1 clean like I have seen with some others.

As its not scratch proof, I couldn’t use it to wash my non-stick pans/pots.
If not for that, its a good product.

I came into this thinking a sponge is a sponge, but oates scourer sponges have proved me wrong. Works so well at removing heavy duty food residue of my pans and hasn’t fallen apart. Exceptional quality. Pleasantly surprised at this sponge!

Another staple for our home cleaning collection. What a handy scrub sponge. Not having a dishwasher it’s good to have all the handy and necessary cleanup tools. A sponge is always handy but having the scrub scourer side is a game changer. So good to get rid of the tougher built up stains and food on some dishes. It’s also a sponge I’m going to keep on hand for any areas that are harder to clean sometimes like the stove top etc. Sinple and very effective.

I keep a pack of these Oates Scour ‘n’ Sponges in my kitchen, laundry and bathroom. I love they are heavy duty, easily removes dirt, grime and scum in my sinks, basins and around the taps.

I was not expecting a great deal from a scouring sponge but was pleasantly surprised. I have tried some in the past for stuck on food on fry pans however I found they easily got clogged with food so their life was limited. The Oates Heavy Duty Scour ‘n’ Sponge is superior to those I have tried before. I was able to clean the stuck on scrambled egg off easily from my saucepan, and it rinsed clean again. The antibacterial quality gives me peace of mind to use it for scrubbing off food, knowing it will not harbour bacteria afterwards. The packaging says to allow the sponge to dry after rinsing. I found this morning that the sponge still felt wet after using it last night, so I think it needs to be squeezed out after rinsing.
The edge of my sink tends to accumulate grungy gunk where it meets the wood surrounding it. I used one of the scour ‘n’ sponges to clean this area, and it did the job really well, as well as putting a sparkling shine on the kitchen sink.
I used one of the scour ‘n’ sponges to clean the ensuite vanity basin and top. It was both gentle and effective, not leaving any scratches, leaving the vanity basin area looking sparkling clean.
I like that the sponge is easy to hold while cleaning, so that my skin does not need to be in contact with the scourer at all. I will definitely be continuing to buy this product!

‘They Taste Amazing, I’ll Definitely Be Stocking Up Again’
Having three young kids, juggling their commitments and her own as a school teacher means Kristie Young’s days revolve around snacking on-the-go.
