It has a large head that gets the job done faster as it covers a lot more area at a time. The head is easy to watch after use and reusable which is a bonus and once not in use it fold away to a small enough size that it’s not a hassle to have around the house. Only downfall in finding a bucket big enough for the mop head itself.

What !!!! Why have I not bought this mop before this trial ?? It’s absolutely fantastic, the sweep function is seriously amazing way better than a broom we have laminate floorboards and the Oates triple action is the perfect product.

The triple action mop is great! I first tried it on my walls( yes I 'mop my walls) to get all the kids finder marks and shoe/foot prints off and was very surprised that it just glided over the surface.
I have tried many many mops over the years and i love that it comes with the drying cloth for a streak free finish. And that my 2 boys can also help with the adjustable handle

I've used a variety of different brands of mops over the years, some which need buckets, some which don't. I am so very impressed by the Oates Triple Action flat mop, and I can honestly say I will be sticking with using this one over my current cumbersome mop and bucket.
It is simple to follow the instructions for each coloured pad and the yellow cloth, to sweep, then mop, then dry the floor. The pads are very easy to attach to the base of the mop! Attaching the blue pad was quite exciting as it grips to the mop as if by magic. Attaching the orange pad for the initial sweeping was so simple. I was shocked how much dust the orange pad picked up, as I had only vacuumed two days before... it appears the pad is able to pick up a lot of dust which is superficially invisible to the eye.
After removing the orange pad, I dampened the blue pad and mopped the floor; I found it glided across the floor so easily compared to using the mop I normally use, and the handle adjusts to height very easily.
My experience using this mop was so much easier on my back and joints in general... very light to hold and no need for constant bending or lifting of any buckets of water! Despite the ease of use, which means the process is very quick, the results are fabulous, my kitchen floor is so shiny and clean!
I also used the mop on our tiled hallway with excellent results. Thank you MoM for the opportunity to discover these amazing Oates cleaning products.

We primarily use the Oates triple action flat mop to "sweep" in our kitchen and to mop the floors of our kitchen and dining areas. The only drying so far is for water spills to avoid having to wash the mop afterwards. Love the long handle and easy swivel head for hard to reach areas (under tables and chairs and cupboards) that other mops just don't have. It is soft on our wooden floorboards but tough enough on sticky spills.

After reading the reviews, I had to try this mop out and see if it was as good as others were saying it was. I could not believe how good it was, even my husband could use it. It was so handy for cleaning the mud room and children's bathroom. Rooms that always take the most effort to do.

This mop isnt a mop i would buy again as i dont really like how you have to keep taking the cloth off to clean off the dirty stuff as I usually like a mop i can keep washing it out with soapy water but this you cant really do that

we have only used this as a dry mop so far. its great at collecting dog hairs and general dust and super easy gliding along the floor boards. my only suggestion in the pack is two provide 2 of the orange cloths instead of an additional purchase as the orange cloth needs washing regularly

The Oates Triple Action Mop is easy to use, very lite and does its job. It has a washable cloth which is handy, however I'm not a huge fan of it and would prefer my other mop that I usually use. It's harder to get into some spots which my other one can get to.

The Oates Triple Action Mop is a great addition to my cleaning tools. Its multiple uses means it does triple duty without taking up much space! The sweeper is great for everyday use, but likewise, the mop action does a great job of easily keeping my laminate floors clean and shiny, with no fuss and I can do this daily because it is so easy and doesn't require a big mop or bucket. The fact that you can dry your floor as well means I'm not left with those pesky foot prints or streaks on the floors after cleaning. It gets into nooks easily to leave a sparkling clean floor. Overall, a great, simple, easy to use product.

WANT A CLEAN FLOOR ? - GET A OATES TRIPLE ACTION FLAT MOP - AMAZING
I've been looking for a dry mop for sometime, so when i got to trial the OATES TRIPLE ACTION FLAT MOP i was amazed at the amount of dirt it picked up. It comes with a microfibre mopping pad which fits on with velcro, a dry dusting pad and disposable drying pads that you can also use for quick clean ups. I just put one of these over the microfibre pad and sprayed with diluted disinfectant and the disposable pad was black with dirt. The best thing for me is no bucket of water! Totally Recommend OATES

7 Simple Ideas That’ll Save You Hours Every School Week
If every school week is more like an episode of Survivor at your place, don’t worry, you’re not alone! The struggle to stay on top of the school week mayhem is real – so we’ve put together a bunch of clever ideas to give you back some precious time (and sanity).
There’s nothing difficult about these tips, just solid advice and ideas from a mum who’s been in the school trenches for over a decade.
1. Teach The Kids To Make Some Simple Breakfasts
Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies
Hang on, this is about breakfast, why are we showing you a picture of mouth-watering cookies?! These are Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies – perfect for a prep-ahead school day brekkie!
Depending on their age there are so many safe and easy breakfasts kids can make themselves. From toasties, to yoghurt pots prepped the night before or just cereal. Not having to make breakfast for everyone will literally save you hours every week!
2. Lay Out Clothes For The Week
Use a hanging organiser or labelled baskets for each day. Include uniforms, socks and undies. Kids can dress themselves without the drama of missing items. I’ll be honest, my kids’ uniforms are expensive, so I wash during the week as they only have a couple of sets. However, if nothing else, having just socks and underwear sorted for the week is an absolute lifesaver!
The other huge help is not having to pre-treat stains on my kids’ uniforms, nobody has time for that during the week! My extra tip here is to use a great quality laundry detergent that is powerful enough to remove stains in-wash, so you don’t need to worry about pre-treating. 4. Plan A Weekly School Admin Session
Answer school emails, sign permission forms, top up canteen accounts and check term calendars in one go instead of daily interruptions. You may only need to do this fortnightly or monthly, but just make sure you schedule it in your calendar. Trust me, it saves so much time compared to juggling things bit by bit!
5. Quick-Fire Cleaning Sessions
Set a timer for ten minutes in the afternoon, pop on some music and everyone tidies their zone. This includes the kids emptying their lunchboxes, washing their drink bottles, handing you any notes and putting their clothes in the wash. Small bursts like this stop the house turning into chaos by Friday.
6. Have A Snack Station
Keep a drawer or fridge shelf filled with ready portions. Kids can pack their own snacks for school, and also grab something to eat when they get home. Think ahead and include them in the weekly shopping – ask them what snacks they would like (and cross your fingers they’ll still like them all week!).
7. Set Up A Family Charging Station
One spot for iPads, laptops and phones. No searching for chargers or discovering a dead laptop ten minutes before school! Make sure each child puts their school device on charge when they get home, as part of their Quick-Fire Cleaning Session.
While we can’t promise your school weeks won’t have moments of chaos, taking some of these tips on board will save you time – even if it’s just five minutes here and there. It’s about building realistic habits for the whole family, that will hopefully bring some calm to the school week.

There are some great ideas here! I just use an old school paper calender but its so helpful to remember all the important dates – i always buy a family planner one so theres columns for each of us to write what were doing om certain days so we never run out of space! I need a snack station, but struggle to have healthy (or healthier) choices in the cupboard apart from the usual chips, rice crackers and museli bars!
There are some good hints here! I already do have a little snack station in my pantry – a large container filled with all sorts of bars, etc. It’s the first place the kids look for something to eat. I do like the idea of a charging station but I don’t think it would work in my house. Everyone seems to like charging things in their room and it could look messy with multiple cords.
The struggle is real so I’m loving these hints. I especially like the idea of getting the kids involved in preparing their own lunches and snacks and offering a variety of options that will hopefully encourage them to make healthy choices now and into the future.

Most of these I already do but it has reminded me to add a few other things to my list to organise before the school year starts in a couple of weeks. Helpful tips like this are so great as you can never remember everything and this sure has given me a few extra things to think about.

I love this article. I can relate to a lot of these ideas. For instance, I have a snack shelf in my pantry so my kids can choose and pack their own snacks. No more asking them what they want. We also have a family charging station in the kitchen. iPads, laptops and phones are only allowed to be charged on the kitchen bench. I love the healthy cookies. I must give these a go. The family calendar system is a must too!
I totally agree with most of these. We bought some inexpensive cereal dispensers, and that made mornings much easier. And school admin? For me, that is every Wednesday right before a regular appointment. It fitted in perfectly, I never overlooked anything, and if I didn’t need it it was a glorious burst of free time.
I love this article and the tips and already follow many of them. I have always been a big fan of schedules and planners and they simply make sense and make sure everyone in the family is on task. I also love snack stations; one for the fridge and one for the pantry; again it makes sense and makes preparing food and lunchboxes and snack times easy.
