I tried a leg of lamb slow cooked with lots of Mediterranean inspired veg and flavours.
Lots of garlic, onion, capsicum, herbs, a splash of chicken stock and olive oil. And slow cooked and to perfection!
The meat was falling off the bone and had the most amazing sauce at the bottom.
I served with mash and had lots of delicious lamb left to have for another dinner and lunches!
What an amazing cooker! The most relish roast/pulled lamb.
This cooker is a must.... and I even cooked this on a hot day and because the oven was not on the house did not heat up and we had a lovely warm dinner as the temps dropped that night..... how good is that!

So I have experimented a bit and have found that some recipes can be tweaked and turned into family favs! I have taken the Carbonara Spaghetti recipie on page 31 in the recipie book and changed it to a Mac n Cheese recipe!
So I followed the recipe, but used elbow pasta instead of spaghetti. (And I have tried a few other pasta shapes) And a splash more water. And when cooking time was finished I added a handful of tasty cheese and half a handful of Parmesan cheese. I also added torn up baby spinach.
We all love the caborana.....
but we also really really love our Mac n Cheese in our new cooker.
I love that I can create new recipies in The Phillips Premium Collection All-In-One Cooker. It is lots of fun experimenting, and being able to cook up a family fav in next to no time!

The Phillips Premium Collection All-In-One Cooker Is such an excellent versatile cooker that is very easy to use. I have been testing it out, putting through its paces, and cooking like a mad woman! And the results have been fantastic! There are lots of different functions that make this cooker so flexible and user friendly. And the extra pot insert is so helpful, as soon as one dish is done cooking you can pop the next one in with no fuss. And because you can cook using the pressure cooking setting, you can create a whole dinner in the cooker, main in one pot and sides or desert in the other and all in no time at all! The sensor touch is easy to use and offers lots of setting that are customisable. And the safe pressure features are such a piece of mind for those wanting to use pressure cooking but had been a bit nervous about it. It also comes with a cook book with 50 recipes, which is a nice starting point.... I would love to get my hands on some more. However with a bit of experimentation you can cook almost any dish in the cooker. I have cooked our typical family favourites and adjusted recipies in the book to make a new creations. It can be lots of fun seeing what creations I can make with my cooker. I would definitely recommend this cooker to everyone. It is easy and fun to use. And a god send on hot days as it won't heat up the house like the oven does!

YUM! One of my favourite dishes and yes I can't help but recommend the Philips all in one cooker enough! My curry turned out amazing! Let's get straight into it! Well I used whatever I had at home so my meat choice probably wasn't what I wanted but you can use any meat you like, the meat I had was beef cut into chunks, I prepared my (4 medium sized) potatoes and ?2 carrots by peeling and Chopping these into good bite size chunks, I also diced 1 medium sized onion. I seasoned my meat with salt and pepper, I had my all in one cooker ready and chose the option sauté high, added a little bit of oil with a little garlic and ginger and sautéed the diced onions, then added meat and only cooked until brown, then added potatoes and carrots and stirred around for a couple minutes to them add 4 cups of water (didn't end up needing 4 cups, 3 would have been perfect, but it still turned out great with more curry sauce) then added my 1 packet of golden curry and stirred until the curry was dissolved I then canceled the sauté option and placed the lid on the cooker to then chose the pressure cook manual mode and setting timer to 15 minutes! When timer was up I released steam and took the lid off! Yum!!! Everything was cooked beautifully! I added my final touches to the curry by adding 1Tbsp of ketchup, 1 Tbsp of soy sauce and also a little sprinkle of curry powder too just for some extra curry flavour! I mixed these in and my dish was done the vegetables were cooked to perfection and the meat was super delish! I absolutely love this golden curry and would highly recommend trying yourself! I served with brown rice that I had prepared in the rice cooker whilst the curry was cooking! And clean up again was super easy and the pots are great quality also! I wish I had more pots like these to use :)

Hi again, my experiences with the Philips all in one cooker have been so so good so far and I thought I'd share another cooking experience that I have tried out in the all in one cooker, I decided to try the steam option as I had chosen to make some pork mince dim sums for dinner and I ended up making 25 in total so to steam these on the stove top would take quite some time with only one steamer and coming time roughly 10 minutes, but in the Philips all in one cooker only 3 minutes was needed to steam these babies! And amazing! So good and so easy, I prepared my mince filling with pork mince, onion (as I didn't have and spring onions in the fridge), garlic, sesame oil, ginger and salt and pepper. I then packed the mince filling into wonton wrappers and chose to fold them up into little parcels, I put one cup of water in the pot, used the White steamer tray insert that comes with the Philips all in one cooker and sprayed that with some cooking oil (just so my dim sums didn't stick) then placed it into the pot that was in the cooker I placed 4-5 dim sums in at a time to cook, selected pressure cook option on steam for 5 minutes, I found that I couldn't take the timer any less? Which was a pain at times as i only needed the dim sums to cook for 3 minutes, so to do this I was having to keep and eye out on time and cancel the cook after 3 minutes. ( there were a couple of batches of dim sums that cooked for the whole 5 minutes as I forgot about it whilst trying to breast feed my son while the dim sums were cooking but this didn't make too much of a difference to the outcome so it didn't bother me really) to take the dim sums out and start cooking another batch I had to make sure I released the steam before opening the lid which was great, just made sure I had a oven mit on when doing so because a lot of steam came out! The outcome of the dim sums was great! Made cooking time a lot faster for me I found? And clean up again was very simple and easy! Can't wait to make some more steamed food in the Philips all in one cooker again!

Finally! I have used the all in one cooker and am able to write a review to tell you all what I think about it! And we'll I think it's amazing! I felt so out of my comfort zone to begin with thinking too much into how long to cook things for etc but Google helped me out a lot and now I'm just winging it!! but hey got to start somewhere and what do you know! Meals have come out perfect and have made cooking a breeze as there's no need to sit and keep an eye on things or worrying if my toddler is touching the oven + Cooking time is great, as most of my days are so busy it comes around to dinner time an I've forgotten all about the meat I had pulled out to cook that takes a lot of time as well as veggies etc the pressure cooker has saved me! ???? My 1st cooking experience with the all in one cooker was a piece of roast lamb, For this meal I had planned and had time to slow cook my piece of lamb, I used the pot roast option put timer to 5hours and seasoned with salt pepper and a little bit of garlic, the smells that came from the cooker during the 5 hours were so so good I had comments on how good dinner smelt from my partners brother who was over visiting at the time I was hoping that it tasted as good as it smelt! Well when the timer was up the cooker when straight to warmer mode I chose to open as I ready to dish up with my roasted veggies I had cooked in the oven and roasted pumpkin, feta, pine nut and spinach salad. Before opening the lid I released the steam from the machine which you would find on the top of the lid and sitting in the pot was a beautifully cooked roast lamb in a whole lot of drippings and juices! Taking the roast lamb from the pot it was just falling off the bone and it was delicious and I felt so proud to serve the meat for dinner! :) I also didn't let the drippings from the meat go to waste I made a gravy to pour over our lamb setting the cooker to sauté high temp (leaving the lid off so you can stir) adding some water and flour to thicken it turned out great! Some more seasoning could have been added but we enjoyed it without! :) so happy with the way the meat turned out and depending on the size of meat you cook the timing may be different I could have cooked our meat maybe for 1/2 hour less but it still tasted great and loved how it pulled away from the bone so easily! Clean up was so easy both pots are great quality and nothing stuck to my cooker which usually I'm having to scrub dishes down to get clean from roasting meat. I would highly recommend the Philips all in one cooker and can't wait to share more of my cooking experiences in the all in one cooker with you!

Wow!! Who knew there would be a device that can be used as a pressure cooker, slow cooker and wait for it.....an oven!!! I was reading through the recipe book and came across the recipe for an apple cake and I said to my husband 'what we can bake in this?' I was extremely excited! I gathered all my ingredients, made the cake exactly according to the recipe book and the result....one delicious looking, tasty, simple to make cake! Preparation took about 15 minutes, I set the timer to 50min, managed to get things done during that time and once the baking is done, the device automatically converts to heating and starts counting up the minutes the food inside has been heating for. I opened the lid (after 2 min of heating) and I did not know I could make a cake that looks tasty!
Out of the many advantages of this product, the one that was a winner is that I baked a cake on top of the tabletop and not in the oven. Usually when using the oven, it needs to be pre-heated, then food needs to be baked and then the oven needs to cool down. It becomes quite impossible to use the oven with a little one around unless the oven is situated higher up. But with the Philips All-in-one cooker I managed to bake a cake and not have to worry about my son getting hurt at all!!
The cake tasted delicious!! Very easy to make, requires simple ingredients. Cleaning up was a bliss! Only the inner pot had to be cleaned and I swear it took less than 2 minutes to do so. Doesn't require aggressive scrubbing. The rest of the device remains clean and left on the bench top! Cannot wait to make my next dish in this cooker!
The All-in-one lives up to it's name. It really is an all-in-one including peace of mind!

Was not too sure when hubby brought me Philips Premium Collection All-In-One Cooker. Then I read the book to see how it works. Loved the idea that I could sear/saute the meat in the cooker before slow cooking. No more having to dirty another pan to brown the meat.
Being able to cook in different ways has been handy, even got over my fear of pressure cooking. Remembering the one my mum had that rattled and hissing.

A day where I felt like I had no time. I cut one onion into 4 and some garlic and popped into the cooker, got a whole chicken rubbed it with olive oil, garlic salt, paprika, thyme and pepper and placed on top of the onion. I set it to slow cook, high temp for 4 hours. After time had passed, I had a tender cooked chicken that fell apart and I picked off the bone. Nice and easy no fuss.

Okay so I'll let you in on a secret... Due to losing my pics this is more of a 'here's one I prepared earlier' type review. So while this was 2 weeks ago here is my experience!
So when I say bubble you think gum, I say traffic you think jam, I say head you think lice! I mean ache! I mean band (yes that's a better option). When I hear slow-cooker I think shanks. You can't go past a great slow cooked, tender, moist lamb shank with mash.
I had to wait a few days because even with the slow and fast slow options, I'd still forget to set it. When I did, I got the ingredients organised I had plenty of room with the two shanks and some veggies.
I set it to cook for 4 hours. You could smell it as it cooked so it was a long 4 hours. Once completed the moment of truth had arrived! Would they be tender? Would it be burnt? Have I wasted my time?
They turned out beautifully. Moist, fall apart shanks with a lovely gravy and soft veggies. It was sooo good. Hubby loved it. With mash on the side it was worth the wait.
I would definitely recommend an All in One.

Sorry for the delay in review number 3. I lost my photos but found them again. Since my last review I've gone from a love coming softly to a full blown love affair with this machine.
Let me set the scene. A busy week teaching and working long hours after work. Hubby on shift so alone with the little ones and a cupboard that makes Mother Hubbard look like a good role model for meal planning!
So I placed an online order and bought enough food to make up some bulk meals to freeze.
Normally a Saturday would be spent peeling, chopping, cutting, stirring, growling at children to avoid the hidden hot booby traps in the kitchen. I would be frazzled and my kitchen would look like a scene from Twister, all while trying to keep the kids quiet.
Enter my new kitchen love the All in One. Once prepped it's a simple swap over between meals from one pot to one pot. No stirring or being glued to the stove top while avoiding a charcoaled stew or curry. Once it's set I forget until the timely beep let's me know we're ready to go again. A quick rinse and off we go. I prepped almost 30 lunches with about 5 different meals all within a few hours compared to a whole day being knocked out. Better Yet was the minimal clean up.
The photo shows half way through my process and I can tell you it is super satisfying having tneder well coooked meals ready for the next week that are healthy. Plus the biggest bonus is more time with my kids.
I like that my new love isn't clingy or needy but is there when I need support and only needs a little attention to be happy.
My only complaint is still the start button. Most times it doesn't start straight away and takes quite a few presses/ hitting cancel by mistake as I feel around and a few tantrums before it turns on. I'm beginning to think there's a fault as every other button works first time. Please if you can tell me if it's not just mine!
I have one review to go which will be testing the all time slow cooker dish lamb shanks!!!

My husband and I are absolutely addicted to this machine! It has changed the way we feed our toddler twins dinner. The last two Sundays we have used it to cook three family meals -eg lamb korma, beef casserole and spaghetti Bol. It took us less than 5 minutes to prepare each one, cooked each one on the pressure cooker setting for between 30 and 45 minutes, then viola, a weeks worth of family meals! Having two pots made it so much easier as you could prepare one before the first one finished, and swap pots quickly and get the next one started. We can now eat as a family as we simply need to reheat when we get home, where previously we were feeding the kids whatever we could throw together then not eating ourselves until after 8pm. This machine has been a life changer!!

I was a little hesitant getting another kitchen appliance that would inevitably sit in the cupboard unused but I have been pleasantly surprised by how versatile the cooker is. I now use it to batch cook dinners on the weekend, steam fish and chicken, bake cakes and even make yoghurt. My husband, who hates cooking, actually enjoyed using it and loved the result when he made beef cheeks in less than one hour! I can't recommend this cooker more highly and looking forward to experimenting with different recipes now that I got the hang of pressure cooking!

i was afraid of using pressure cookers for very long time. i remember the day when the hisssss sound of my traditional cooker just made me go deaf... i got really out of senses because my mind was busy deciding something else. the idea of having a good pressure cooker for people like my having small hearts is great plus it comes with all the other variety of functions that is always a bonus...
having something at your counter tops that is such a multifuntional thing that everybody can love... worth having it.

I now find myself adapting receipes so that the only appliance I need to use is the All-In-One Cooker. The convenience of being able to saute, sear, steam, pressure cook and multi cook in the one appliance can not be stressed enough, and that doesn't even take in to account the specific multi cook functions that make roasting, soup, rice, etc a breeze to cook successfully and tastefully every time.
In the early day my love of the All-In-On was definitely encouraged by how easy the clean up was. The more I have used this machine, the more I have come to appreciate how much it enhances and improves the flavour of the dishes I am wasting. As everything is cooked in the one bowl there is no throwing out taste-enhancing oils or bases, it all stays in the dish leading to mouth watering good meals. Love, love, love!

This was another fail in the pressure cooker department. I followed the recipe out of the book and unfortunately it turned out nothing like the picture in the recipe book.
It still tasted alright and instead of having with rice I shredded the meat and we made sliders.
Next time I will try sear it for longer before turning it to pressure cooker

After trying out a few of the dishes from the recipe book I thought I will try some of the everyday basics to really make sure I know how to use all the functions of this amazing cooker! I decided to pressure cook butter beans and lentils. Easy peasy! Put the ingredients in, add water, seal the lid, press pressure cook and it automatically sets the timer to 30 minutes. Butter beans and lentils cooked to perfection. I then added spices and was ready to serve from the cooker itself. Best thing, I can release the steam when I am ready and little one is happily distracted with his books and toys. Unlike traditional pressure cookers where the steam is released randomly and very likely bub is having their nap and mum then needs to deal with a screaming and annoyed child!

7 Simple Ideas That’ll Save You Hours Every School Week
If every school week is more like an episode of Survivor at your place, don’t worry, you’re not alone! The struggle to stay on top of the school week mayhem is real – so we’ve put together a bunch of clever ideas to give you back some precious time (and sanity).
There’s nothing difficult about these tips, just solid advice and ideas from a mum who’s been in the school trenches for over a decade.
1. Teach The Kids To Make Some Simple Breakfasts
Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies
Hang on, this is about breakfast, why are we showing you a picture of mouth-watering cookies?! These are Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies – perfect for a prep-ahead school day brekkie!
Depending on their age there are so many safe and easy breakfasts kids can make themselves. From toasties, to yoghurt pots prepped the night before or just cereal. Not having to make breakfast for everyone will literally save you hours every week!
2. Lay Out Clothes For The Week
Use a hanging organiser or labelled baskets for each day. Include uniforms, socks and undies. Kids can dress themselves without the drama of missing items. I’ll be honest, my kids’ uniforms are expensive, so I wash during the week as they only have a couple of sets. However, if nothing else, having just socks and underwear sorted for the week is an absolute lifesaver!
The other huge help is not having to pre-treat stains on my kids’ uniforms, nobody has time for that during the week! My extra tip here is to use a great quality laundry detergent that is powerful enough to remove stains in-wash, so you don’t need to worry about pre-treating. Biozet Attack’s range is perfect, and while each product packs a punch when it comes to lifting stains, I love that each targets different issues. For example, Biozet Attack Plus Eliminator Power Capsules eliminate 99.9% of odour-causing bacteria – great for teenage boy school shirts! There’s also Biozet Attack Plus Sensitive 2L which is dermatologically tested, but still powers through stains.
3. Use A Family Calendar System
Whether it’s a wall planner, a shared phone calendar or a digital calendar, you need everyone to be able to track all activities, due dates and after-school commitments in one place. It also helps gives the kids a a sense of responsibility and doesn’t leave everything on your shoulders!
4. Plan A Weekly School Admin Session
Answer school emails, sign permission forms, top up canteen accounts and check term calendars in one go instead of daily interruptions. You may only need to do this fortnightly or monthly, but just make sure you schedule it in your calendar. Trust me, it saves so much time compared to juggling things bit by bit!
5. Quick-Fire Cleaning Sessions
Set a timer for ten minutes in the afternoon, pop on some music and everyone tidies their zone. This includes the kids emptying their lunchboxes, washing their drink bottles, handing you any notes and putting their clothes in the wash. Small bursts like this stop the house turning into chaos by Friday.
6. Have A Snack Station
Keep a drawer or fridge shelf filled with ready portions. Kids can pack their own snacks for school, and also grab something to eat when they get home. Think ahead and include them in the weekly shopping – ask them what snacks they would like (and cross your fingers they’ll still like them all week!).
7. Set Up A Family Charging Station
One spot for iPads, laptops and phones. No searching for chargers or discovering a dead laptop ten minutes before school! Make sure each child puts their school device on charge when they get home, as part of their Quick-Fire Cleaning Session.
While we can’t promise your school weeks won’t have moments of chaos, taking some of these tips on board will save you time – even if it’s just five minutes here and there. It’s about building realistic habits for the whole family, that will hopefully bring some calm to the school week.
Mouths of Mums is proudly working with Biozet Attack to bring you this article.
There are some great ideas here! I just use an old school paper calender but its so helpful to remember all the important dates – i always buy a family planner one so theres columns for each of us to write what were doing om certain days so we never run out of space! I need a snack station, but struggle to have healthy (or healthier) choices in the cupboard apart from the usual chips, rice crackers and museli bars!
There are some good hints here! I already do have a little snack station in my pantry – a large container filled with all sorts of bars, etc. It’s the first place the kids look for something to eat. I do like the idea of a charging station but I don’t think it would work in my house. Everyone seems to like charging things in their room and it could look messy with multiple cords.
The struggle is real so I’m loving these hints. I especially like the idea of getting the kids involved in preparing their own lunches and snacks and offering a variety of options that will hopefully encourage them to make healthy choices now and into the future.
A great article full of very helpful and handy tips. Most of these I already do but it has reminded me to add a few other things to my list to organise before the school year starts in a couple of weeks. Helpful tips like this are so great as you can never remember everything and this sure has given me a few extra things to think about.
We do daily life admin because it simply makes life easier to stay on top of everything that is required to run a family and household. Planning and organisation is so vital for every family and for a household. It really is very important to stay on top of all things at all times.
I love this article. I can relate to a lot of these ideas. For instance, I have a snack shelf in my pantry so my kids can choose and pack their own snacks. No more asking them what they want. We also have a family charging station in the kitchen. iPads, laptops and phones are only allowed to be charged on the kitchen bench. I love the healthy cookies. I must give these a go. The family calendar system is a must too!
I totally agree with most of these. We bought some inexpensive cereal dispensers, and that made mornings much easier. And school admin? For me, that is every Wednesday right before a regular appointment. It fitted in perfectly, I never overlooked anything, and if I didn’t need it it was a glorious burst of free time.
I love this article and the tips and already follow many of them. I have always been a big fan of schedules and planners and they simply make sense and make sure everyone in the family is on task. I also love snack stations; one for the fridge and one for the pantry; again it makes sense and makes preparing food and lunchboxes and snack times easy.

Omg... family fav in no time at all!
My Irish Stew is a favourite and has been for many many years...... and I was thrilled that I could use the The Phillips Premium Collection All-In-One Cooker to cook it. And it is so quick in the cooker and doesn't take many hours to cook. Just pop on pressure cook and it's done in no time at all!
I love love love that I can cook our family favs and traditional dishes and I don't need to just learn new recipies.
I love new recipies and trying new things but also want to cook all the recipies my family loves. And this cooker can do it all and fulfill all these needs!
This make me very happy.... and I am so happy to have my slow cooked dishes done in the cooker on slow cook or done using pressure cook and it works either way. And I also get to try new things and stick to my family favs..... Can't be happier! And a happy family too!

Pulled pork!
I chopped up apples, onion, capsicum, garlic, then added chicken stock and rubbed pork with Mexican seasoning rub. I added it all to the cooked and pressure cooked it for 59mins.
I have to say... melt in the mouth, falling apart, tender deliciousness!
I mean, really?!! Pulled pork in an hour??!!! Can you believe that! I would have never have thought it but it was amazing!
The Phillips Premium Collection All-In-One Cooker Is amazing and really works to put delicious meals on the plate that are tasty and quick without sacrificing in anyway!

Slow cooked leg of lamb
Lots of garlic, onion, capsicum, herbs, a splash of chicken stock and olive oil. And slow cooked and to perfection!
The meat was falling off the bone and had the most amazing sauce at the bottom.
I served with mash and had lots of delicious lamb left to have for another dinner and lunches!
What an amazing cooker! The most relish roast/pulled lamb.
This cooker is a must.... and I even cooked this on a hot day and because the oven was not on the house did not heat up and we had a lovely warm dinner as the temps dropped that night..... how good is that!

Creamy Cheesy Mac n Cheese with bacon and spinach
So I followed the recipe, but used elbow pasta instead of spaghetti. (And I have tried a few other pasta shapes) And a splash more water. And when cooking time was finished I added a handful of tasty cheese and half a handful of Parmesan cheese. I also added torn up baby spinach.
We all love the caborana.....
but we also really really love our Mac n Cheese in our new cooker.
I love that I can create new recipies in The Phillips Premium Collection All-In-One Cooker. It is lots of fun experimenting, and being able to cook up a family fav in next to no time!

Amazing apple cake!

It all Comes Down to This Moment!!

Back after a Technical Hitch! This is Love!
