Sadly I wouldnt buy this product ever again. I found my skin to feel light and dry after using Proactive. I was very dissapointed to see after washing the product off and drying the skin gently, my towels started forming bleach spots on them. I thought to myself, if this is what it’s doing to towels.. what is it doing to my skin.

It’s been such a privilege to be a part of the ProActiv trial.
The system is straightforward and quick to use, which I have loved! Throughout the trial, I noticed a visible reduction in my blemishes and an improvement in my skin tone. A few little dryness issues either side of my nose following the cleanser, but nothing the perfecting hydrator couldn’t handle.
There were times, due to shift work that I couldn’t use the ProActiv system twice daily, but I continued to achieve great results, regardless.
The ProActiv system went to work when little breakouts resulted from hormonal changes and stress, but overall, these were far less severe with ProActiv.

After 12 weeks of consistent use, I am happy to give my honest review of proactiv. I have previously used proactiv when I was a teenager and it worked great back then, since then, pregnancy, breastfeeding and hormones have had my skin doing all sorts of breakouts. I have tried numerous things in between but happy to try proactiv again and seriously happy with the results. Not only have I had clear skin for 12 weeks but my skin itself feels so much nicer! I have tried and tested so many skin care ranges and just haven’t found that one that works for me, that is until recently.
Throughout my teenage years I was very fortunate as I didn’t experience any breakouts however that all changed after I gave birth. Obviously lots of things change when you have a little babe but what completely caught me by surprise was the state of my skin. I began to get breakouts, lots of blind pimples on my chin and I couldn’t get it under control. I tried so many different products and was at my wits end.

I’m really loving being a part of this review! I’ve definitely noticed a reduction in breakouts and noticed an overall improvement to my skins tone. I love that the exfoliate is effective, without being harsh on my skin! These past couple weeks were a true test to see if Proactiv+ made a difference for my skin. My hormonal acne makes its unpleasant visit monthly, 1-2 weeks out of getting my period. This always results in large, painful pimples around my chin area, sore, inflamed and sensitive skin which leads to scarring and redness.

So I have had an interesting second week with Proactiv, my forehead remains dry and my nose pores look great but I have some breakouts on my cheeks. I am not too sure if thats because I dont normally have a skin routine and my face is just getting used to it or if its possibly a hormone stress thing. Still very impressed with my nose pores being so minimal and hoping this will eventually include my cheeks and chin!

I have now been using the proactiv+ 3 step system for a month, some changes I have noticed are that my pores have begun to shrink and also I HAVENT HAD A SINGLE BREAKOUT! Yay! I’ve noticed I get blind pimples that would normally turn into a nasty pimple but they don’t eventuate now! For around a week I noticed my skin went rough (nothing noticeable I could just feel it) on my forehead, cheeks and chin but now it has gone smoother then ever. So the packaging of this is great, its very descriptive and has a lot of information on the bottle. I dont have ferocious acne but I do get breakouts, especially if I have heavily stressed or have my period. My pores have shrunk in the last 3 days, especially on my nose. I also have very try skin so I am hoping the hydrator will change that, stay tuned!

I have been using Proactiv+ just shy of a week now and I’m blown away by how fast I started noticing results. Almost immediately the redness from my blemishes started to fade and have not had any further breakouts since using these products. It’s such a simple system and has not impacted my daily routine at all. The exfoliant has removed all my dry and flaky skin which means that my make up sits so much nicer when I do have to apply. Having three young kids, juggling their commitments and her own as a school teacher means Kristie Young’s days revolve around snacking on-the-go. I rarely snack throughout the day and have an aversion to sweet things, anyway, so would not have tried these bars off my own bat. It is good to hear these reviews and that everyone liked them, but I still doubt I would buy a pack of 5 bars in case I didn’t like the sweetness of them. I avoid cakes when going out to coffee as well.
I’ve tried these too and found them filling and satisfying . They give me that chocolate fix that I crave but are small portions. I am trying to be healthier from now on too. Swimming every day and stopping the snacking. When I do have one of these it is planned.
Ive always l9ved the nice and natural bars and buy them quite often but I’m yet to try the deluxe protein bars. After reading this review and the comments ill definitely bevtrying them out as they sound delicious. I’m a bit of a sucker for caramel and chocolate so I know which ones ill be trying first!
These bars were soo good! I was hesitant thinking the added protein would make this taste funny or have a weird flavour but they taste amazing and are so addictive! I really enjoyed the cookies & cream flavour. They are super convenient to take on the go and are more filling!
It is always so great to hear and read other mum reviews of products. I love these muesli bars, they are so delicious and perfect to keep in your handbag or laptop bag for a snack at work or if you are on the go. This brand of muesli bars is one of my favourites as they have lots of flavour.
I trust your judgement Kristie so these will be put on my shopping list for my next trip for groceries. My son runs his own shop and he is always having muesli bars. I think these ones will be so much better for him health wise as well as being tasty.

However the bars have not such high star rating and personally I consider them as not so healthy
Thank you Kristie for a very relatable and down to earth review with a lot of good detail. I found similar features with the bars when I reviewed them. The bars are not too hard and they are not too sweet which is terrific in a protein bar. These bars are now on our shopping list.
I was lucky enough to also receive Nice & Natural Deluxe Protein bars to taste and review. I was surprised with the taste and the texture of the bars. Salted caramel, cashew and choc is my favorite flavour and one of these bars with a cuppa for morning or afternoon tea is simply so satisfying.
