I started using this shampoo when the treseme shampoo I was using before it gave me horrible dandruff. I was converted pretty quickly when it smelled amazing, got rid of nearly all the dandruff within three or four washes and left my hair (frizzy and curly and super thick) feeling and looking pretty great. I wouldn't use anything else now.
So I definitely thought this shampoo and conditioner was only if you had dandruff and problem hair - Until one day I was at my sisters and decided to use it.. Converted straight away!! I have never had a shampoo and conditioner leave my hair so silky and smooth before! I have long curly and some what frizzy hair and this duo tames the mane!
Sunsilk really does make my hair silky. I think it is the conditioner that works so well. The one thing that I don't like (as many shampoo and conditioners are like) is that the shampoo bottle and the conditioner bottle look so similar when I get into the shower without my glasses to read. I write in big permanent ink letter "Cond" and "Shampoo" so I can tell the difference. Sunsilk really does help with getting rid of tangles in my fine hair.
Pantene shampoo and conditioner for coloured hair. I have used it for years. Even my hairdresser agrees that it is suitable for coloured hair. I would never change from Pantene. Even though it is for coloured hair I use it on my Grandchildren . They love smell and feeling afterwards, they think it is a real treat to use Nannys Shampoo and Conditioner. I have even used it on my Staffy!!
My favourite shampoo. Loreal Elseve colour protect.
I have been using this shampoo for years now. I am not even sure how long. I know that you are supposed to change each six months, but I simply can not. Maybe for a wash or two, but not an entire bottle. This stuff is great. It keeps your hair soft, clean, nourished, shiny, and really protects that colour. Smells amazing too.
My 86 year old Mum was going crazy with an itchy scalp for over a year - she changed products in desperation, including purchasing some very expensive shampoos and conditioners. She had no idea exactly why she was itching herself crazy, even after using all natural ingredients. Eventually she thought to give Johnson & Johnson's Baby Shampoo and Conditioner a go, reasoning that surely it must be gentle enough if it can be used on the delicate scalps of babies ... and voila, straight after the first use, the itching ceased ... and she is SO happy about it!
Am usually fine with just using Sukin, however with my third pregnancy my scalp has been terrible! I tried a few natural solutions first but nothing worked. Then tried Cedel - instant difference! I now just use it once a week & it keeps my scalp under control. Can't wait to be back to normal again!
I'm in love with the Sukin Organics Protein Shampoo & Conditioner. At $19.95 for 1L, it's pricier than regular brands but probably the cheapest true organic one. I love that it helps minimise the nasties I put onto my skin, is great for my fussy scalp & hair, I can use it on the kids, and a little goes a long way so it's actually pretty good value too for the quality you get.
This shampoo is amazing! It smells delicious, it leaves my hair soft and silky and not at all oily. The price cannot be beat (in true Aldi fashion). The bottle is cute and being small it doesn't take up too much shower space. I definitely have and will continue to recommend this awesome shampoo.

I have recently been using Organic Care Dry Nourish Shampoo and Conditioner and I have been really please with the results. After having and breastfeeding two kids my hair has changed completely and is now really dry. I find this shampoo and conditioner is really effective for dry hair, unruly hair, it has a great scent and seems to be free from all the nasties you find in other brands. It's readily available at the major supermarkets and best of all it's cheap! Great value hair care!
I love Loreal Elvive shampoos. I used to buy their colour protect shampoo, but then with pregnancy I stopped colouring my hair and no longer needed to use that one. I have recently switched to the Extraordinary Oil variety instead. Loreal keeps my hair really soft and tangle free for a while. It helps to maintain the balance of oils in my hair. The only thing that I don't like with this one is the smell, but it is growing on me.
Sunsilk really does make my hair silky. I think it is the conditioner that works so well. The one thing that I don't like (as many shampoo and conditioners are like) is that the shampoo bottle and the conditioner bottle look so similar when I get into the shower without my glasses to read. I am really impressed by the Goldwell Kerasilk Reconstruct Shampoo.
This shampoo is pearl-coloured and I could really feel it cleansing my hair. No need to wash my hair twice - it cleaned my hair first go (unlike some really cheap & nasty shampoos).
It left my hair smelling nice and feeling silky even before following up with the Goldwell Kerasilk Reconstruct Conditioner.
I couldn't believe how soft and tangle free my hair became when I started to use Sunsilk brilliant shine (the one in the pink bottle). I think it is the conditioner that is making the difference. It has a beautiful scent as well. I wait for when it is on special to buy as it can get expensive.
The brand fruits although it is rather cheap is actually a good shampoo, I find it is one of the better cheap shampoos.
I was using this before I got dermatitis on my scalp and I did love using the shampoo and I absolutely love the smell of this shampoo, I'm quite sensitive to perfume and it gives me headaches but I find this scent is actually quite pleasent and doesn't affect me which is a bonus.
I get dermatitis on my scalp so my scalp gets itchy and irratated and a doctor recommend me head and shoulders. Honestly my experience with this brand is horrible.
it didn't work and the perfume from the shampoo was overwhelming and made my head spin to the point I almost fainted.
it took ages for me t o be able to get the pursue smell out and I thought perfume was a irritant, so why is it in a shampoo for sensitive scalps.
This shampoo is perfect for hair that has been coloured, I've used this shampoo for a few years and I found it to not only have a really nice gentle smell, it helps keep the hair stay bright and fresh just like it's just been coloured and the best part is that it doesn't irratated my skin and I have fussy skin.
it may be a salon bought shampoo but it's worth the money, I was definitely happy with the results.
natural shampoo that's good for itchy, dry and irratated scalp
The brand moogoo has by far been the best shampoo and products I have ever tried, I get a irratated dry scalp which can some times be caused from dermatitis and this shampoo has stopped my itchy dry irratated scalp and cleared it all up within a couple washes. I'm so pleased because at times I'd find myself scratching until I had a sore
I buy Tresemme for the family. It is very versatile which means I only have to buy one bottle for all the family. It leaves everyone's hair soft and silky. I have tried many others but this is the best so far. Having mostly males I don't want to get anything too expensive or they will only waste it by using too much each time
My favourite shampoo. Loreal Elseve colour protect.

My Shampoo is OGX I found it at Aldi and the first few times i didnt buy it as i always thought that cheap stuff was nasty and no good so when i finally got it i was amazed at everything about it, especially the fact that it was cheap yet good quality. The smell stays all day which is refreshing and my hair is always silky soft. It has the Argan Oil of Marocco and is also Sulphure free...
So I found this last week at Chemist Warehouse. I was going to buy my regular Moisture Rich Treseme, but I decided to try this out seeing it is Paraben free, free of dyes and silicone.
My hair looks and feels very clean and is much softer than normal. The coconut smell is just gorgeous and lasts at least 2 days. I was sniffing my hair non stop. I'm really pleased. I definitely recommend it.

I love Loreal. I recall reading that you're supposed to switch your shampoo every six months. I did that in my early 20s and tried every shampoo on the market. Once I found Loreal I never went back to any other brand. It makes my hair shine, it handles hairdrying well. It is soft, and it smells great. i'd never use anything else again (I just now switch between WHICH loreal product I use).
I have been using this product for easily the last 5 years. I have tried a number of different varieties, but currently am using the Moisture Rich formula and have been for quite some time now. My hair is naturally wavy with great tendency to frizz. I straighten my hair after every wash, and this shampoo provides my hair with the most silky smooth results. Every time.
I remember once a lovely older lady asked me what I use on my hair while I was at a park with my kids. She commented on how shiney and healthy my hair looked. Needless to say I was flattered, but I had to give the credit to Tresemme. In addition to it being great on my hair, it is so cheap! Often on special for $5 for 1lt. Awesome!

7 Simple Ideas That’ll Save You Hours Every School Week
If every school week is more like an episode of Survivor at your place, don’t worry, you’re not alone! The struggle to stay on top of the school week mayhem is real – so we’ve put together a bunch of clever ideas to give you back some precious time (and sanity).
There’s nothing difficult about these tips, just solid advice and ideas from a mum who’s been in the school trenches for over a decade.
1. Teach The Kids To Make Some Simple Breakfasts
Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies
Hang on, this is about breakfast, why are we showing you a picture of mouth-watering cookies?! These are Four Ingredient Healthy Breakfast Cookies – perfect for a prep-ahead school day brekkie!
Depending on their age there are so many safe and easy breakfasts kids can make themselves. From toasties, to yoghurt pots prepped the night before or just cereal. Not having to make breakfast for everyone will literally save you hours every week!
2. Lay Out Clothes For The Week
Use a hanging organiser or labelled baskets for each day. Include uniforms, socks and undies. Kids can dress themselves without the drama of missing items. I’ll be honest, my kids’ uniforms are expensive, so I wash during the week as they only have a couple of sets. However, if nothing else, having just socks and underwear sorted for the week is an absolute lifesaver!
The other huge help is not having to pre-treat stains on my kids’ uniforms, nobody has time for that during the week! My extra tip here is to use a great quality laundry detergent that is powerful enough to remove stains in-wash, so you don’t need to worry about pre-treating. Biozet Attack’s range is perfect, and while each product packs a punch when it comes to lifting stains, I love that each targets different issues. For example, Biozet Attack Plus Eliminator Power Capsules eliminate 99.9% of odour-causing bacteria – great for teenage boy school shirts! There’s also Biozet Attack Plus Sensitive 2L which is dermatologically tested, but still powers through stains.
3. Use A Family Calendar System
Whether it’s a wall planner, a shared phone calendar or a digital calendar, you need everyone to be able to track all activities, due dates and after-school commitments in one place. It also helps gives the kids a a sense of responsibility and doesn’t leave everything on your shoulders!
4. Plan A Weekly School Admin Session
Answer school emails, sign permission forms, top up canteen accounts and check term calendars in one go instead of daily interruptions. You may only need to do this fortnightly or monthly, but just make sure you schedule it in your calendar. Trust me, it saves so much time compared to juggling things bit by bit!
5. Quick-Fire Cleaning Sessions
Set a timer for ten minutes in the afternoon, pop on some music and everyone tidies their zone. This includes the kids emptying their lunchboxes, washing their drink bottles, handing you any notes and putting their clothes in the wash. Small bursts like this stop the house turning into chaos by Friday.
6. Have A Snack Station
Keep a drawer or fridge shelf filled with ready portions. Kids can pack their own snacks for school, and also grab something to eat when they get home. Think ahead and include them in the weekly shopping – ask them what snacks they would like (and cross your fingers they’ll still like them all week!).
7. Set Up A Family Charging Station
One spot for iPads, laptops and phones. No searching for chargers or discovering a dead laptop ten minutes before school! Make sure each child puts their school device on charge when they get home, as part of their Quick-Fire Cleaning Session.
While we can’t promise your school weeks won’t have moments of chaos, taking some of these tips on board will save you time – even if it’s just five minutes here and there. It’s about building realistic habits for the whole family, that will hopefully bring some calm to the school week.
Mouths of Mums is proudly working with Biozet Attack to bring you this article.
There are some great ideas here! I just use an old school paper calender but its so helpful to remember all the important dates – i always buy a family planner one so theres columns for each of us to write what were doing om certain days so we never run out of space! I need a snack station, but struggle to have healthy (or healthier) choices in the cupboard apart from the usual chips, rice crackers and museli bars!
There are some good hints here! I already do have a little snack station in my pantry – a large container filled with all sorts of bars, etc. It’s the first place the kids look for something to eat. I do like the idea of a charging station but I don’t think it would work in my house. Everyone seems to like charging things in their room and it could look messy with multiple cords.
The struggle is real so I’m loving these hints. I especially like the idea of getting the kids involved in preparing their own lunches and snacks and offering a variety of options that will hopefully encourage them to make healthy choices now and into the future.
A great article full of very helpful and handy tips. Most of these I already do but it has reminded me to add a few other things to my list to organise before the school year starts in a couple of weeks. Helpful tips like this are so great as you can never remember everything and this sure has given me a few extra things to think about.
We do daily life admin because it simply makes life easier to stay on top of everything that is required to run a family and household. Planning and organisation is so vital for every family and for a household. It really is very important to stay on top of all things at all times.
I love this article. I can relate to a lot of these ideas. For instance, I have a snack shelf in my pantry so my kids can choose and pack their own snacks. No more asking them what they want. We also have a family charging station in the kitchen. iPads, laptops and phones are only allowed to be charged on the kitchen bench. I love the healthy cookies. I must give these a go. The family calendar system is a must too!
I totally agree with most of these. We bought some inexpensive cereal dispensers, and that made mornings much easier. And school admin? For me, that is every Wednesday right before a regular appointment. It fitted in perfectly, I never overlooked anything, and if I didn’t need it it was a glorious burst of free time.
I love this article and the tips and already follow many of them. I have always been a big fan of schedules and planners and they simply make sense and make sure everyone in the family is on task. I also love snack stations; one for the fridge and one for the pantry; again it makes sense and makes preparing food and lunchboxes and snack times easy.
