Tip Top The One :
4.24 out of 5 based on 362 reviews.

As mums, we all want to do the best by our kids – we want to make sure we’re choosing the right products when it comes to feeding them, and at the same time, have them enjoy the food we provide them.

We know kids love white bread, but often feel guilty about feeding it to them. Plus, with the number of choices at the supermarket, it’s hard to know which is the right one to choose.

That’s why we’re so excited that iconic bread makers, Tip Top, launched this year, The One, after 12 months of research, development and baking to create “the best white bread ever”.

Answering all of mum’s problems with a product the whole family will love, Tip Top The One is a soft, tasty, white bread that kids will love, but is packed full of the goodness mums look for in wholemeal and grain breads.

Tip Top The One contains extra fibre to help keep little tummies balanced and ‘in tune’, lower GI* for feeling fuller for longer, and lasting energy throughout the day.  The unique combination of benefits which makes The One ‘the best white bread available’ includes:

  • High in Fibre – The One contains 7.5g[1] of fibre in it, more than regular wholemeal bread and white bread. Fibre is essential for good digestive health as part of a balanced diet.
  • Added Vitamins & Minerals – The One contains the following vitamins; Thiamin, Folate, Vitamin E, Niacin, Vitamin B6 for good health and wellbeing, as well as the following essential minerals; Iron and Zinc. These provide everyday benefits to maintain general health levels.
  • Lower GI – The One is a Lower GI[2] bread, compared to regular wholemeal and white breads which have a High GI rating. This means children will stay fuller for longer after eating The One.

Tip Top The One costs $3.79 (RRP) and is available in all leading supermarkets.

We love ‘The One’ bread in our house, very yummy and there is always good deals for it in our local Coles shop. It is a great size slice of bread and very filling. Much better than cheap loaves of bread. I try to buy it most of the time.

  • more expesive than other brands but better quality.

I found tip top the one to be a very good product. I did notice that it was quite a bit more expensive than other brands but this product seemed to stay softer for longer.
Great bread good to freeze. It is larger than either bread this is better for taking for lunch.

  • great value for money

i recently started buying this bread, as the normal one i buy was unavailable for a period of time.
i found that the one lasted longer than the previous brand, and still remained soft and fresh tasting even after freezing it. my kids love the taste, and the fact that it is on sale quite often is a winner for me.

  • Soft yummy and nutritious bread

I’m one of the ‘ strange’ ones who likes only white bread yet worry abt insufficient nutrients and fibre. Never looked back since Tip Top the One. It is soft and filling, able to keep my tummy from growling longer than other white bread in market. Also, it suits the whole family’s appetite

  • Yummy Yummy a real winner

I did not tell the kids that I was using a different bread when I packed their lunch boxes, I was surprised when my fussy teenager who is not a lover of sandwiches asked if I did something different to his sandwich as it tasted really nice. i am yet to try the toast cut but am eager to do so.

  • price is a bit high

This is a nice soft bread & I love the size of the slices but I still can’t justify the price. I’m pretty sure the price of this bread is due to the name brand. Not going to buy this unless it’s on special

  • Replacement for all bread!

This bread has replaced all other white bread in our home. Not only with the children, but with hubby, too!
And I need not worry as The One has the extra health benefits that other white breads do not.

  • Good size for sandwiches

I was happily surprised with the size of this bread. Some companies have a really strange idea of what size a piece of bread should be and you end up with half your filling not actually fitting in. I enjoyed the taste and softness of the bread. It was still tough enough to withstand the Nutella spread too.

  • always in our pantry

My whole family love this bread, it has great sized slices and taste great too, it is fairly healthy and I have no problem serving this up to the kids. I do find it goes mouldy rather quickly and that would be due to less preservatives. but overall a fantastic bread for a sandwich or toast and suitable for all

  • Another quality bread from Tip Top but expensive

I’m a white bread person and always have been. I usually buy a “home-brand” to use for toast, but I like a “specialist” bread for sandwiches, because it has a better texture and stays fresh for longer. Nothing worse than stale bread in sandwiches. I buy Baker’s Delight for sandwiches as a rule, because even if you freeze it, when you defrost it, it’s as fresh as the day it was made. Because of the nutritional claims for Tip Top’s “The One”, I decided to give it a go. To start with, I thought to test how long it stays fresh, I’d keep it in the fridge, rather than freeze it. After 3 days, it had started to go stale, and was really only good for toast. OK, I thought, I’ll buy another loaf and freeze it, to see what it’s like when defrosted. Again I was disappointed, because it just didn’t measure up to Baker’s Delight. For the price paid, even with the added nutritional benefits, I wouldn’t bother to buy “The One” again, as it’s over-priced for what you get, especially compared to other breads.

  • Great freshness and taste

We use tip top the one bread daily. We have tried them all and found this to be the best for staying fresh and it is great tasting too. Even if frozen it defrosts like it has been brought that day. Would not use anything else.

  • Soft and delicious

We have started using this bread for our kids lunches. They both like the taste and it stays soft and fresh for days. It’s also a great thickness for toasting but soft enough to eat as a sandwich . Knowing it is high in fibre is an added bonus for me. 🙂

  • The One

My family are really fussy when it comes to bread. We’ve tried so many different types but there is always someone that doesn’t like it. This one was a true winner with everyone. It was great for kids lunches too and stayed soft well after I expected. I also found it was a great way to get vitamins into my kids that they couldn’t see.

  • Soft White Bread

It’s great for sandwiches. The big square slices are the perfect size, They are large enough to fit all my yummy sandwich fillings, but not too big, so they still fit in my lunchbox/bags. The bread is super soft and last for about a week if kept in the fridge.

If you’re looking for small, simple steps towards making your home more sustainable, switching up the way you clean is an absolute no-brainer. Something as small as creating own sustainable cleaning kit not only reduces your family’s impact on the environment, it’s a great way to stretch the budget.

Sustainable doesn’t have to be hard – it’s about smart choices and little know-how. Choosing cleaning products that are environmentally conscious and affordable – like Oates Earthly – makes putting together this kit a breeze.

We’re going to take you through exactly what you’ll need for a sustainable cleaning kit that costs less than $10 – including how to make your own enviro-friendly cleaning sprays. In just three easy steps you’ll have a kit that can tackle the kitchen, bathroom and general household cleaning for weeks.

Step 1: Grab Your Reusable Products

We’re only going to need three Oates Earthly products to make our kit an absolute weapon against grime and dirt around the home.

Oates Earthly Non-Scratch Sponge Scourer 2pk – $2.90
Perfect for delicate surfaces like glass, non-stick cookware and tiles, the Oates Earthly Non-Scratch Sponge Scourer is tough on stains and kinder to the planet. The scourer is made from responsibly-sourced coconut yarn and recycled polyester and the sponge material is 100% biodegradable cellulose. At under $3 for a two pack, this gives our cleaning kit one scourer for the dishes and another for bench tops.

Oates Earthly Non-Scratch Scourer 2pk – $1.75
Great for tough grime, but still gentle enough to be used on delicate surface like glass and tiles, the Oates Earthly Non-Scratch Scourer is made from responsibly-sourced coconut yarn and recycle polyester. And it’s less that two bucks for a two pack.

Oates Earthly Reusable Bamboo Wipes (10 Sheets) – $3.50
If a single roll of paper towel disappears in a week at your place adding the Oates Earthly Reusable Bamboo Wipes to your sustainable cleaning kit will be an absolute budget beater! They can clean any hard surface and are made from responsibly and sustainably sourced bamboo. Each wipe is washable up to 80 times, so one wipe is equivalent to 80 paper towels! Use them wet or dry for cleaning or dusting.

Step 2: Make Up A Kitchen Spray

You probably have everything you need for this kitchen spray on hand, and it only costs .50c to create a spray bottle worth! Reuse a spray bottle you already have and mix up the following:

  • 1 cup white vinegar (about $0.30 worth)
  • 1 cup water
  • A squeeze of lemon juice or a drop of essential oil (optional)

This mixture is great to use on benches, splash backs and stovetops.

Step 3: Mix Up A Bathroom Scrub

This paste costs just $1 to make and will tackle sinks, tiles and soap scum. Used with the Oates Earthly Non-Scratch Scourer the bathroom will sparkle in no time. Here’s what you need:

  • ½ cup bicarb soda (about $0.50 worth)
  • Add just enough water to form a paste

Once you’ve scrubbed the surface you’re cleaning, use a Oates Earthly Reusable Bamboo Wipe to buff the surface and watch it shine!

$10 Sustainable Cleaning Kit Cost

  • Oates Earthly Non-Scratch Sponge Scourer 2pk – $2.90
