I have literally had to wait almost 6 weeks to finally be able to get my hands on this box of goodness. This should have been the first sign that they were going to be amazing. From the moment they began cooking, the aroma wafted throughout the house. My children were anticipating the completion of these goodies to finish cooking and with each minute the anticipation grew, The finished product did not disappoint. They were aromatic, moist and wonderfully fresh tasting. Each one had a burst of unique flavour and they were very “more-ish”. They were a huge hit and are already on our next shopping list!

I loved the Indian selection, particularly the somasos, which were tasty little morsels of Indian yumminess. They were so quick and easy to prepare in the oven after getting home from a busy day at work. The pack includes onion and vegetable baji, while tasty, arent as delicious as the samosa! All in all, I’d say Woolworths, you totally nailed the Indian selection pack and will definitely be buying in future!!

Very easy to prepare and the best thing is, there are very tasty. Unexpected visitors? This selection is perfect. The Onion Bhajis in the Indian selection are a delicious and moreish snack, perfect either on their own, or served with side dishes, or even served as a side dish themselves with a main course. We had these as a side dish on our Indian curry night, and also put them on the table at a family BBQ, adding a bit of spice to our usual BBQ of chops and sausages!

Unlike other frozen Indian food we have tried these snacks don’t taste like cardboard but are packed full of flavour but mild enough for our infant daughter. Affordable and quick to prepare on a busy day we will probably keep a box in the freezer to hit those Indian cravings within budget (we also love dinner at Indian restaurants)

I was very impressed with the flavour and product selection in the Indian selection. I would never have thought of purchasing these in the past but will certainly be purchasing them again.
The combination of items is great, Vegetable Samosas, Vegetable Pakoras and Onion Bhajis. The flavour is mild so can be enjoyed by all. They take 12 minutes to cook and can be prepared quickly. They are great to have in the freezer as a quick entertainer.
At $5 they are a great find, they have the health star rating at 3.5 for the Vegetable Samosas and Onion Bhajis and 4 for the Vegetable Pakoras, no artificial colours, flavours or preservatives so are a healthy option There are packed in individual plastic packets so firstly the flavours do not mix before use and each individual packet tells you there may be present Crustacea, Eggs, Fish, Mils, Peanuts, Soybeans, Tree Nuts and Sesame Seeds which is a great reminder just in case you have guests that have food allergies.

The triangles were tasty and the pick of the bunch. The lighter coloured balls were a bit bland and did not explode the taste buds, the darker coloured balls were an improvement but again did not leave a lasting impression.

Great indian flavour, just whst you expect. It was a bit too strong in spice for me, kids didn’t like it. I found the samoas the best in the kit, onion baja balls were good but neeeded a sauce as it was a bit dry and would have been better deep fried. I eneded up putting a bit of avacado on them, definalty tasted better. My taste buds were singing when i mixed indian and mexican, ola!

My husband and I made the Woolworths Indian Selection pack for sharing with friends when we had a board game night the other night. We also served these with the Woolworths Garlic Chicken Bites. The Indian Selection is great value and the food was really nice. The onion bhajis tasted slightly floury but the veggie pakoras and the samosas were above the standard I was expecting. Everyone enjoyed them and it made the perfect accompaniment to entertaining friends. I would buy this again for sharing with friends or to compliment an Indian main dish for dinner.

I found this product, that i shared with my daughter who is a chef, to be very dry and overpowering in taste. A cucumber dressing may help but we think the recipe needs to be completely redone. A product i would not buy.

The Indian Selection Mix wasn’t an “oh, wow, these are great!” product moment. They are a great party platter filler, but each item was very similar in flavour. The most flavoursome of the three was the Onion Bhajis; flavoured to perfection. The Vegetable Pakoras had a floury taste to them and the curry was quite overpowering and the Vegetable Samosa’s were nothing special that could use a bit more filling.

I loved the Indian Bites. I liked the taste of the spices. My daughter isn’t keen on spicy foods. So I used the dip I made with SKYR Yoghurt as well. I was amazed she liked them especially with the SKYR Yoghurt. The older Grandchildren liked them as well. Great Finger Food.

When I opened the carton, I was pleased to see each of the three different contents were in individual packs, which meant If so desired I could have had one of the selection and safely put the others back in the freezer. I was also impressed by the fact that each individual package had the use by date on it as well as a list of possible allergy indicators such as may contain, gluten, soy, nuts, etc. The outer carton also had a health rating for each of the three products. I did prefer the Samosas. The Pakoras and the Bhajis, although not exactly the same, I found to be similar in taste.

‘They Taste Amazing, I’ll Definitely Be Stocking Up Again’
Having three young kids, juggling their commitments and her own as a school teacher means Kristie Young’s days revolve around snacking on-the-go.
