Robert De Niro, 79, Welcomes Baby Number 7

Actor Robert De Niro has revealed he’s welcomed his seventh child, confirming he ‘just had a baby’.

The Oscar winner shared the happy news in an interview with ET Canada, where he corrected a reporter who who ask him what it was like to be a father to six children.

“Seven actually. I just had a baby,” Robert replied.

He didn’t elaborate any further on his new family addition, which he is believed to have welcomed with martial arts instructor Tiffany Chen.

The actor also shares two children with Diahnne Abbott, two children with Toukie Smith and two children with Grace Hightower. He is also a grandfather to one.

His children are Drena, 51, Raphael, 46, Elliot, 25, Helen, 11 and twins Aaron and Julian, 27.

I do feel sorry for his child. I doubt he will be at his child’s 21st birthday but maybe just. He certainly won’t be able to kick a football or run around an oval with him or her, but he certainly has the money to make her life fairly good.

I was shocked when i read this… an age gap of 51 with the eldest sibling is a bit too much to absorb. But then he has the resources to bring up another 5 children maybe, so why not?

I was shocked when I read this. It’s an old ages to be having a child. I just hope he is able to be around to spend time with this child and they get the opportunity to know their father.

I cant even imagine having a baby at that age…. not that it would be possible for me lol but I’m guessing the mother is quite a bit younger…

  Yes, there is some difference between male & female fertility.
  There’s no maximum age that stops a man from being able to have a baby. You can become a father long into your older years, but there are risks.
