I found out that you need to be careful with purchasing these types of blankets and make sure you pay attention to the weight of them and the size of your child as they are not a one size fits all type of thing. My daughter purchased one and it was a mistake

I am not a fan of heavy things over me when I sleep, so I will pass on this offer.

  My oma had one very heavy one and I remember as a kid I felt I could hardly move or turn around and found it kind of suffocating

I’ve never tried a weighted blanket before or even knew what they were until probably this year!
Would love to try one though to see what they’re like.
