Today is the day my only baby turns 10 months old. Yesterday was the day he took his first steps, which also happened to be his Daddy’s birthday.

It really was a WOW moment for me. After almost 10 months of “I am doing this right?” questions running through my head, I finally got a moment of “Well I can’t be doing too bad.”

Every now and again we mothers doubt ourselves. Is our child developing properly? Are they happy? Am I doing the right thing by my baby?

But it’s moments like that that make us reassess to let us say YES, we are raising them properly, we are doing it our way, which is the most important thing.

I’m still a little scared of what may come in the future, but hey, I’ve got a long time to just wade through and enjoy my super clever baby’s antics <3

That’s great to read. Us mums are way too hard on ourselves, it’s good to sometimes get feedback that says “Hey, you are doing a good job! Well done!” When it comes down to it, most of us do the best we can, which is what counts

I like to think that because I am questioning myself, I’m being a good mother. I don’t always get it right but, think I do must of the time.
