Is it just me, or has this year flown by? I can’t believe how the time has flown and we’re now getting ready to enter the Christmas Season and the school year is almost over. Last year, I had Christmas all planned. This year though, I have absolutely no idea what we’re going to do. I have started the Christmas gift shopping but as for Christmas Day – well, I have no idea. My daughter is very excited because Santa is coming and she is even finding a nice card to send to Santa with her Christmas Wish List! Funds are tight, so I’m looking at Christmas on a budget and I don’t want to disappoint my little girl.
It is also going to be the 3rd Christmas without her daddy after his passing. Birthdays, Christmas, Easter and other celebrations don’t feel right because someone very important is not here to celebrate with us, even though we know he is with us in spirit – well, it isn’t the same, is it?
For everyone having a Christmas without their loved ones, my family and I wish you peace, solace and comfort but most of all, LOVE.
