I feel like my baby is a giant. When he was born they said oh my hes long at 54cm? He has such big hands and feet? To me he was the smallest thing id ever seen, even more so because i dont know any other babies. But apparently he is now the size of a 2 year old at 6 months? No i dont think so. But he is in size one jump suits but all the other clothes he still needs 00. But then at the baby and toddler expo i overheard someone saying their child was 18months and yes she was smaller than my baby lol. But i dont care hes perfectly proportionate in every way!

  • As long as he is growing and doing well I think that is all that matters

  • Is there really a norm?

  • My boys were always in the top percentile s, as long as he is happy, healthy and in proportion he is perfectly “normal” – whatever normal is!

  • My baby boy was the same. In size 1 by 6 months and always 2 sizes bigger than his age. He’s taller than the next tallest in his year by 15cms, so some children were always meant to be big.

  • I understand how you feel I was made to have an ceaserean at 38 weeks as my girl was measuring big and wouldnt let me go any longer. She was 57 cms length and 5.1 kgs (11pound 2) she is now 6 months and nearly 9 kilos and 63cms length (last time weighed and measured) and wears 0 and 1 and people dont believe me she is 6 months old as of yesterday. I dont think she that big either but I guess we see them everyday. You are right no matter what they are just PERFECT
