Don’t beat yourself up. As parents we all do what we have to for OUR family, not anyone elses. I am a stay at home mum and i forever cop smart remarks about how i have it made, that i don’t work hard, that my job is easy etc and some of these comments even come from my own mother so put it this way, your damned if you do and damned if you don’t. I don’t personally know if school mums are nicer or more understanding, i think fellow mums can sometimes be outright rude, judgemental and cruel. Don’t ever doubt what you do for your family. I have done this myself in the past and it just leaves you feeling as though you aren’t doing a good job. I say stuff them to the people who have nothing nice to say. They don’t pay your bills. Keep your head held high knowing you are doing a great job for your family
