My Mother in Law - Real Mum story on MoM

Sorry I’ve just got to get it out!
I read the story about the narcissistic Mum and instantly recognized it as my MIL. Every time she comes around it is because SHE wants something… or SHE wants to talk about something My husband had cancer and it was ALL abut HER… yes it is possible to make some one elses cancer about yourself.
Today My patience was tested… After she left I felt Rude because I didn’t pander to her self adsorbed stories.
My Husband is such a saint ..how did he turn out so Normal??

I an so pleased that your husband has chosen to be different from his mother. Children can choose a different path. I have indeed walked in similar shoes. Best of luck with everything!

Don’t feel rude, I found nodding can either make it better or worst. Go with what feels best in your heart and do what’s best for you guys. I have very similar feelings, but mine didn’t end too well LOL.
