Has anyone got Netflix? I am obsessed! While we do not have as many shows or movies as America (I am sure it will come one day) I am loving have ease of access to multiple shows and movies that doesn’t cost the earth! We pay $11.99 a month which covers two devices so different things can be watched at the same time. What are you experiences with it?

  • Orange is the new black was my obsession for ages!

  • I actually haven’t started using it yet. I don’t know if I’m missing out or not.

  • I’ve heard that it’s great, but doesn’t have as much as the American version. My partner has it, and loves it.

  • We just signed up and so far it looks awesome! So cheap, and there are heaps of things to watch. I think it’ll keep us going for a while :)

  • We love it in our household, we have the American version but can switch to the UK version, Mexican version or Australian. We have it on pretty much all day and have upgraded so we can have it on 5 devices. ❤️❤️❤️❤️It’s an understatement to say that we love it. It’s amazing ❤️❤️❤️❤️

  • It’s a dangerous addiction :P Even though there’s not as many shows/movies as overseas it’s still plenty for us.

  • my kids want us to get it but I am not sure. But you sound as though it is really good so perhaps I should give it more thought! I just don’t know enough about it!

  • We considered it, but have not gotten it yet, maybe we will have to try it.

  • We’re hooked too. It’s so much cheaper than buying TV shows! We’ve done suits, longmire, and currently on upper middle bogan.

  • We do not have it at the moment. But can see its value. Although we are aiming at having less tv time in general I think the cost of going out to watch movies at the cinema is becoming too big to justify, and having Netflix we could make it more of an event with the comfort of being at home with special nibbles all at a much reduced cost.
Glad so many people are getting to enjoy Netflix.

    • oh yeah! i agree. netflix will be getting a trial! it is free right now for a month, same with Stan and presto. They are all trying to grab your dollars. I will check them all out

  • i want to join up. they have the free trial happening now. I can’t wait till someone brings new movies to this format, instead of going to the cinema. If you saw my local cinema, you would understand! It stinks like smoke, mould and realllyyyyy beyond needing an up-date. Like 80’s retro. I would rather stay at home because it costs sooo much to take the family! Basically one round of movies for the fam, is equivilant to 6months worth of netflix and then you still have to buy food etc so i am literally looking at $100 to go see one movie at the cinema. Cinema is on the way out now, i can feel it.

    • It is so expensive to go to the movies unless you have vouchers or deals.

  • We have it at home and we love it! I just wish I had more time to watch my favourite shows.

  • I don’t have it, but I will try Presto soon, because Telstra is offering a free 6-months subscription to his customers with a T-box. It’s just a pity that it looks like some series are with Presto, others with Netfix and so on… I would like a service that offers all the series! :-)

  • Do not have Netflix. Glad you are enjoying the shows.

  • We don’t have it but a lot of my friends do

  • We were told to wait until it has a full service??? I think that meant more shows??
