paedafile in the area - Real Mum story on MoM

Got a message from my brother telling me there was a paedaphile living in my Mims street. Trying not to panick I asked plenty of questions to make sure it wasn’t just a rumour. When I found out the mans name I googled it and discovered he had be caught 2 weeks ago in relation to offenses I. The 80s and 90s. He was trying to keep his name anonymous as he has a well respected member of the community. Thankfully the judge denied him of this. The creep has been let out on bail. I know which house he is supposed to live at, it looks empty though, I imagine they moved him once his identity was known. I hope he gets locked up for life

It used to be safe to let your children walk to school – not any more.
We walked to school with kids in higher grades than we were. School ovals during lunch times aren’t safe if part of it isn’t in full view either. There was an incident at a school last year. The Police patrolled the area a fair bit for awhile, sometimes in an unmarked car at various times during the day.

How scary!!! I was getting my partner to take my son to school early some mornings on his way to work, so he would be at school just before 8am. I was so terrified when I learned there was a paedophile not too far from the school. Since then I haven’t allowed my son to go to school at that hour…

It’s terrifying that these people can be living so close to our kids, and most of the time it’s kept all hush hush, no one thinks of our kids

The real scary thing is that your story probably isn’t unique. You may not feel this way but you are lucky to have found out about this creep. Not to sound paranoid but I bet there are plenty of people like this living in family communities and no one has a clue.

Its scarey but i do hope he has moved somewhere else for your kids safety. But sadly they are everywhere we just dont know where yet,, I wish we kid so we could keep our kids a little safer.

While it is important to keep your kids safe, do remember how easy it is to make mistakes with this sort of information – a lot of innocent people have been hurt in the past.
