Hello!

The grandparents have taken the little one for most of the weekend.
Instead of a sleep in we got an early start to our weekly grocery shopping. Prepped a few meals, did some gardening and even took a leisurely stroll along the beachside. The sun stayed out most of the day so laundry was hung and brought in before 3pm.
Now instead of heading out for a night on the town, we have candles blazing, dinner in our tums and hubby settlingback for some footy while I’ve grabbed a book off the shelf plus a few sneaky treats.
It might not seem like everyone’s idea of a weekend alone with the kids but it’s a great treat for us- unintrupted housework and all ;-)
Hope everyone else’s weekends are going just as well or better!

  • I’d probably do the same thing except add a bath. I always have to share.

  • It doesn’t really matter what you do when you are without kids, but that you enjoy it. And it looks like you do! :-)
