Ronald McDonald House - Real Mum story on MoM

I just want to let everyone know what a wonderful place Ronald McDonald House in Adelaide is like. We have been staying there on and off again for the past 2 and a half years and are heading there again on Sunday for a 3 day trip while my daughter undergoes more tests in the WCH. The staff are simple amazing and a blessing, so often we have arrived back at the house after receiving bad news at the hospital to be greeted with a friendly hug and cup of coffee.

The volunteers are so lovely and are always willing to lend a hand, or just a ear to talk to. We live 700kms from Adelaide, so it is nice knowing that we have somewhere comforting and supportive while my daughter undergoes her tests and appointments. I would urge everyone to get behind the house and support it in anyway possible. It truly has been a blessing to my family xx

We have spent far to long in these houses they are a God send and it is a life line to us and so many other families

My sister has used Ronald McDonald in Brisbane and I know for them at the time it was a godsend.

She is getting there slowly. The team at RMH are truly a godsend and the other families are also a source of comfort!!

its amazing how strangers become a comfort in time of need and the amazing job all our volunteers do especially when you have ill children i hope your daughter is becoming better
