18 months ago my children’s dad moved away from the area, since then it’s as though I’ve got troubled children, the swearing and rudeness I’ve made excuses for there behaviour. I guess life’s not always perfect. I’m hoping in time things will improve.

Give them time and hopefully they will adjust, sounds like they are expressing their anger at the situation… Or if they are younger they have picked up on some words they dont understand the meaning of.. But as we all respond when the kids use them it might be their way of getting more attention…

Your kids are probably suffering very much for the physical distance with their father. It must be tough on them. Do they regularly keep in contact with him?
