Very tough teaching them about safe strangers and not safe strangers. It’s also tough teaching them what to do without scaring them.

I keep telling my son all the time about playing near the fence at school don’t talk to people you don’t know even the other night on the news there was a 12 yr old that was abused on a tram and I asked my 11 yr old what would you do if this happened to you giving him ideas tips always talking to my kids about this always popping it into there heads

She will be taught more about this when she enters school and hopefully she takes on the advise as these things do happen and it can be dangerous.

I remind my son, much to his annoyance everyday not to go outside of the school gate or talk to strangers. Think I’m getting a bit repetitive lol.

i let her know that you cant go home with anyone you dont know… Not sure she understands though

oh dear make sure you let your little one know the names of the only people they can leave with. They will grow into the understanding of stranger danger but keep talking to them about it
