My oldest is special needs so I would stay in his classroom and help as a Teachers aid.We have been trying for 12 months to get him to write his name he was 4 or 5 at this time.It was December and Santa Claus was on the horizin so he was painting a picture of Santa and then he wrote his name on the Santa picture .I will never forget the excitement the teacher and myself felt on this success.We made him feel a success with our praise and joy.So to all Mums out there just keep trying and you will get there Good Luck
