Terrifying experience - Real Mum story on MoM

I had a horrible experience this morning, as I was Breastfeeding my 6 month old son, he was just dozing off, but still sucking when he suddenly started shaking and jerking. It lasted about 10 seconds, I was freaking out!! my son didn’t wake, or open his eyes during or after he just went to sleep. He then slept for about as twice as long as normal. I rang the hospital and took him to the doctor. Yesterday he fell while couch cruising and bumped his head on the coffee table, but the doc doesn’t think this could be the cause, we are doing a urine test to test for infections at the moment, and keeping a close eye on him. Fingers crossed he doesn’t happen again.

That is so scary for you. I remember in my baby first aid recently they talked about seizures but I’ve never known it to happen to anyone. Once it’s happened it could happen again. Just check with your doctor what to do, while its scary some babies do this. I can’t imagine what I’d do if it happened to my bub though! Hope they figure out why xx
