Hello!

My 3 year old son has a habit of repeating everything he hears, especially bad (swear) words. We make sure to tell him off when he swears but it is something he hears daily, so it’s to be expected. Anyway, he was playing with his big sister one day and she did some thing he didn’t like (can’t remember exactly what it was now) & his response to her was “you are a swear word now, Sissy!” My mother-in-law and myself couldn’t stop laughing! I guess he found a new approach to “swearing”. He now tells off anyone who swears or say “only adults are allowed to swear”. I hope he keeps his swear words to him self when starts kindy next year!

  • lol yes they catch you out hey. my hubby’s phone call to his work kept dropping out and he was walking around trying to call and saying oh sh*t when it would drop out. A few days later my son grabbed my phone and would pretend to call someone, then look at the phone and say oh shit. Just like his daddy lol

    • oops sorry for the swear word! no offense to anyone reading. i know swearing isn’t polite but we are grown ups hey

  • I love that story. My daughter is 2.5 years & also repeating everything she hears & some of the things she says I cringe & hope & pray she never repeats those in front of anyone else.
