This happened while I was staying in an outback area. I hope Mum and unborn baby / baby are both OK

This is sickening and so very sad. Sad for the woman and her unborn child but sad also for the 14 yo. What have we as a society created, that children think this behaviour is okay and acceptable.

What is this country coming to? Children of 14 used to be respectful to older persons – to stab someone is just so wrong, and more especially so a pregnant lady. Do hope mum and bub will both be OK, but what she is going through should never have happened.

Terrible that a boy so young would resort to such violence… and a terrible experience for his victim. I hope she and her baby are okay.

The teenager was refused bail. Luckily. And for now both the young woman and her baby are in stable conditions.

Have been following this story on the news – it’s absolutely shocking! I hope his age doesn’t prevent a suitable punishment! Hope mum and baby fully recover.

  Any age is shocking but 14 just is so sad!

Frightening to think that kids this young are resorting to such violent methods. Makes me wonder what made him desperate enough to try to Rob a house on his own in the first place. Hope the baby and mum are doing okay.

Need to get that kid in jail quick before he does something far worse. Maybe they could knock some sense into him and turn his life around. If I hear he only got a slap on the hand with community service and house arrest I’ll lose it..
