“Wooden toys were a popular range of Special Buys in 2017, so we decided to increase our offer and create even more exciting toys – the first of its kind in Australia,” Andrew King, Buying Director at ALDI Australia told Kidspot.

“While wooden toys have been around for longer than we can remember, we’ve seen their resurgence recently with the rise of millennial nostalgia and eco-conscious parents wanting to buy toys that are not only durable, but also better for the environment.”

I love that dolls house and it’s a great price but the budget could very easily blow out buying all the additional furniture sets!

Wooden toys are great and they last longer then the plastic ones. Handle the weather better too, not falling apart from sunshine.

Wooden toy games are back. Kmart, now Aldi. What a pity that Aldi doesn’t sell many items so you have to be lucky to find them when you decide to go shopping.

These are great! I purchased some last year and will hopefully get the toy box this year and the airport looks cool also. Store them away for Christmas

We don’t have an ALDI here in Hobart. I have seen that KMart also have some wooden toys, I’ll have to settle for them instead
