Hello!

I looked down at my longtime companion, friend, and confidant.

“You were always there for me,” I thought, remembering significant times, the excitement of my wedding day, the birth of my first child, and high school graduation as well as the everyday moments that meant so much to me.

  • Well done. I am currently in the process of quitting with the help of Champix. After over 20 years smoking I have tried patches, gum, cold turkey, you name it I’ve tried. The Champix are working I am on day 5 and I haven’t yesterday I only had 8 smokes for the day (not bad for a 20+ a day smoker). I still haven’t had one today, but time will tell. My quit day is day 12 (next Sunday) and I am hoping that I will have quit before then as I just don’t feel like one now. My daughter is so happy that I am quitting, she has been getting very upset over the ads on TV and keeps crying that this is going to happen to Mummy. I want to be here for a long time for my daughter and husband and to be a good role model for her.

  • I can so relate to this story. I still struggle to give up this dreadful habit, this addiction. I recently made a purchase that is quite expensive and requires me to pay it off. I know that the only way I will be able to do so is to give up the ciggies and the $200+ per month I spend on them will go towards my purchase. God give me strength!!!
