Can I help please, Mum? Best words ever to hear.

Once we knew what the routine was when we were kids we used to do them without being asked to avoid a lecture from Dad. We automatically put our dirty clothes in the laundry after we took them off. Friday mornings we stripped our beds and put the sheets and pillowcases in the wash.

My kids sure tell me “mum, can I set the table?” And this week my 12 year old was asking if she could help me with the wash 🙂
