All I Want For Christmas Is A Mariah Carey Barbie Doll!

She’s the Queen of Christmas, and now Mariah Carey has been immortalised with her very own Barbie Holiday Celebration Doll.

Her 90s song, ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ has become a Christmas anthem, and in recognition of her continued yuletide popularity, Mattel has released an official Barbie x Mariah Carey Holiday Celebration Doll.

The $130 Barbie features a gown inspired by one of Mariah’s outfits in her 2019 ‘Make My Dreams Come True Edition’ of the All I Want For Christmas Is You music video. The doll also includes sparkly silver accessories, matching red heels and bouncing blonde curls.

“It’s a once-in-a-lifetime dream to have my own Barbie,” Mariah Carey said in a statement. “If I could go back and tell my little girl self that one day, I would have a Barbie made in my likeness, I think she would flip out!”

Unfortunately it seems this gorgeous Barbie is sold out across Australian retailers – including Target and Myer but you can still pick one up on Amazon.

I think this Barbie will be for collectors only. I can’t see children being allowed to play with such an expensive doll.

I think this is a collector’s only doll. Can’t imagine children playing with it at all. It is also far too costly for this particular year.

  Surprisingly, this year, I have not heard it playing yet! Usually it has started playing in stores, but there seems to be a distinct lack of Christmas tunes playing in stores and centres and markets this year.
