With Australia set to reach a population of 25 million after 11.00pm tonight (7 August 2018), Carnival is celebrating by gifting one family a fun-filled cruise experience

To celebrate Australia’s population reaching 25 million, Carnival today announced it will give away a fun cruise holiday to the family of the baby born closest to the time the population clock reaches this momentous milestone.

Carnival Cruise Line Australia President, Jennifer Vandekreeke, says the Carnival team are excited to mark the milestone by giving one family the chance to throw themselves into all the onboard fun Carnival has to offer.

“So many treasured family memories are made on a Carnival cruise holiday so we’re excited to be giving this family the chance to make some of their first memories together.

“Australians have truly embraced the Carnival experience and we’re keen to return the favour. The Carnival team are looking forward to welcoming the family onboard in the near future for fun and games, when he or she is ready to sail!”

Families can experience all the fun Carnival has to offer with over 45 activities on board including the Green Thunder waterslide, mini golf, Broadway-style entertainment, theme nights and the whimsical world of Dr. Seuss with Seuss at Sea™.

Carnival are encouraging new mums and dads to come forward to claim this prize (with a birth certificate).

  • I don’t know if it applies to all Cruise Companies but I know that one of them the baby has to be 6 months old to cruise. Some don’t provide food suitable for babies so make sure you take some with you. We took our baby on a cruise and there was a couple of others on board. Their parents had the same issue. You have to list the age of the children so they were aware there was babies onboard.
