Egg Carton Sunglasses

A quick and easy way to pretend to have sunglasses.

Material

1 egg carton
2 pipe cleaners
scissors

Method

Cut out 2 portions out of the egg carton and cut 2 holes at the bottom so you can see out of them.
Cut 2 holes opposite each other for both of the egg carton portions and using 2 pipe cleaners, join the pipe cleaners together and thread through the 4 holes.
Put up against the eyes and curl the pipe cleaners behind their ears and its complete.

Notes

You can also use cellophane for lens if you have time. Otherwise they look good either either way.

It’s amazing how many different things can be made from egg cartons. Love the idea of using cellophane in them. They could be decorated with some coloured crayons or textas too.
