A quick and easy way to get your kids to eat something healthy before trick or treating!

  • 2 hard boiled eggs
  • 1 black sharpie texta

  1. Hard boil the number of eggs you want.
  2. Once cool, draw on some spooky faces with a black sharpie texta.

These are perfect snacks or part of a dinner before trick or treating. Alternatively, you could make these as part of a Halloween party food table.

  • My kids love these egg faces

  • We don’t do Halloween in this house but I would do a different theme instead with some other colours and unique faces. The kids would have so much fun!

  • My first thought was these were for egging houses so I was glad to see they were for eating hehe

  • cute sharpie fun! easy to do and does the job! thanks.

  • These look so cute! I love them. Thanks for sharing.

  • So simple but such a great idea!

  • looks egg-stremely easy to make and great to eat too. Thank you for the idea.

  • Not sure how many kids would go for this with so many lollies on offer. I would maybe peel the hard boiled eggs and decorate them somehow

    • That is true but you can use them afterwards for salad or something

      • Or as my kids eat them straight up they love hard boiled eggs just as is

      • I guess it’s just what kids get used to isn’t it? My kids know they can have a few lollies on Halloween, not a whole bucket. They actually look forward to some of these “fun” foods that they can have for dinner before they go trick or treating.

  • The kids would love this. What fun.

  • You certainly are one clever mom. well done.

  • Very easy and creative this allows children to express they’re feelings and it’s such a unique idea.

  • Good healthy Halloween treat. Thanks for the fun idea.

  • If hard boiled you could use them in an egg and spoon race too.

  • Ha ha these are eggstraordinary. Thanks for the idea.

    • LOL! Love your comment – clever and funny!

  • Looks like a fun egg idea.
