QLD mum of four shares her amazing weightloss thanks to this Aldi product.

Jackie shared her amazing weightloss story on the Aldi Mums Facebook group alongside a photo of the changes.

“Just noticed many reviews and comments on the Aldi -Slim and trim shakes. I have been using these shakes on my weight loss journey since January 28th 2019 which is now 21 weeks.

“I enjoy them immensely and have seen extreme results -my weight loss to date is 42KGS.. I have them for breakfast and Dinner -twice a day with a healthy lunch consisting of salad and chicken. Strict diet with an hour exercise everyday to achieve my amazing results. Thanks Aldi for such an amazing product.”

Jackie has gone from a size 22 down to size 12.

Jackie added, “I have done weight loss before and then had four children close together – which included twins and piled on weight.

“Finally decided to try the Aldi shakes after a friends dramatic weight loss too and she did less exercise than me. I have chosen to exercise with Aldi shakes which has increased the rate I have lost the weight.

“You have to put the effort in to get the effort out but I certainly wouldn’t have lost that amount without the help from those replacement meals.”

She explained that her exercise routine included, Power walking at a really fast speed for an hour a day on her days off, sometimes for two hours. “As I am older I don’t like Gym – more of a solo achiever..It has worked – so I keep doing it!”

  • All well and good but what happens when you start eating normally again? Or do you use the shakes forever amen?

  • These shakes shouldnt be used for more than 2 weeks at a time. Especially for women. you lose bone and muscle as well as fat. It is probably the 2 hrs of power walking a day that is helping.

  • Too much of some types of dairy can actually deplete iron from your blood, especially ferritin. I had to have iron infusions, partly because I ate too much yoghurt and cheese.

  • well done but what happens when you start eating properly again, those shakes are not recommended for long term use and are actually not that good for you. The exercise part is fantastic though

  • Great effort but I would be worried about nutrition, I hope she is still having lots of healthy wholefoods too.

  • Wow! Fantastic! I’ve tried the bars but didn’t like the taste of them, I’ll have to try the shakes next time

  • I am curious to hear what she plans to do now. I would love a follow up article. How is she going to maintain this? What does her doctor think of her being on such a calorie restricted diet for so long? How is she going to go back onto solid food without gaining weight?

    I have so many questions.
