Hello!

We just cannot get enough of Bluey in our household. I think my kids must have watched every episode at least 100 times and can quote the classic lines off by heart. So it’s a no-brainer that the new Bluey toys will be a popular addition to their Christmas toy pile this year.

We are super excited that the gorgeous plush Bluey toys are now available for pre-order. They are expected to hit our stores from early November, with figurines to be available from December.

The toys will be available to purchase from all major retailers, including Big W, Target and Kmart, and will include a Bluey and Bingo small plush, a large Bluey plush and a figurine multipack.

We can’t believe that Australia’s own much loved blue heeler cattle dog ‘Bluey’ doesn’t yet have her own massive range of merch…but we reckon it won’t be long before we will be able to get Bluey everything.

Pre-Order Now

At the moment, the demand for Bluey toys is sky high and the supply is pitifully low, with Big W only showing four items available on pre-order.

There are two books on offer:

Fruit Bat, which is a Glow-in-the-dark book and Bluey: The Beach- A Lift-the-Flap, which each have an RRP $14.99 but priced at $10 on the Big W website.

There’s also Bluey: Time to Play! A Sticker Activity Book available for $4 online and for delivery only on Big W’s website.

And our favourite, the 42cm tall plush Bluey Toy for $35.

The books will be released on 5 November, while the plush toys will be available from 8 November.

We’re just waiting for Bingo and Bluey small plush to also appear for pre-order.

Melbourne-based company Moose Toys has been announced as the toy partner with the first range of toys hitting Aussie stores in time for Christmas 2019.

For Charlie Aspinwall, Executive Producer for programme makers Ludo Studio, it’s a dream come true. “Partnering with Disney and Moose Toys is everything we hoped for Bluey and way more,” he says. “We can’t wait for kids and families around the world to fall in love with this special show.”

Frenzy

When the Bluey creators announced the launch of the merchandise on their facebook page, fans barked themselves up into a frenzy, with the post attracting over 7,000 comments.

Most were very excited saying:

“Yaaaaas this is the best news EVER! Books ordered, now to wait for these. Christmas sorted. Now all we need is a clothing line!”

“I think us parents are more excited than our kids!!” (true true!)

“Parents everywhere are doing happy dances and birthdays and Christmas presents are solved.”

There were lots of requests for new merchandise:

“Can’t wait to see what the figures look like (still wanting a gnome set like in Calypso). Hoping a talking Bandit will come out one day with perfect dad one liners”

“Hey Bluey makers – how about some Bluey playing cards? Snap would be great!”

“Totally need to make the whole family! Bandit, Chilli, Bluey and Bingo. I know I would buy one of each.”

  • It’s ridiculous that it’s taken so long for these to be released. Hope they turn up in time and no-one has to miss out. Glad to say none of my family are young and so won’t be buying them myself. They do look kind of cute though
