Burglar Breaks Into Man's House and Cleans Every Room

When this US dad returned home to his Massachusetts property earlier this month, he did not expect to find this….

Nate, 44, walked into his house and noticed something was very different – the house was actually spotless.

Sharing on Facebook Nate wrote, “Today, while I was at work, a stranger entered my house. It’s possible that I forgot to lock the back door, they didn’t break anything while entering. I usually forget to arm my alarm during the day, but unfortunately that also happened, so I don’t have any video, despite having cameras.

Ready for the weird part? Not only did they not take anything (that I can find), but the purpose of the visit was to clean my bathrooms and bedrooms. They made the beds, vacuumed the rugs, scrubbed the toilets and left tp roses.

No notes, no creepy arrangements or anything. My best theory at this point is that a housekeeping service accidentally went to the wrong address. It’s still weird and creepy AF. No idea what to think about this.”

Sgt Daniel Campbell says the Police department hadn’t heard of similar episodes and that there are no suspects.

Roman says he may have left his back door unlocked and wondered if perhaps a housekeeping service went to his home by mistake.

Maybe the other house is about to be a surprise treat. Did this happen close to Valentines Day or other special occasion? Does anybody have a spare key? Or as you suggested a cleaner went to your house by mistake. Maybe a house in the area is about to be sold or already been sold and being cleaned before the new people move i n. One of our neighbours had a “for sale” sign put up in their lawn and it should have been the same house number but in a different street. The owners were away so we contacted their son. He contacted the agent and the sign disappeared very quickly.

I’d love to know what happened, whether an accidental wrong house scenario or a friend surprising them, or maybe even a nice person with serious OCD who just loves to clean haha!

  Of course it’s also possible a friend wanted to spoil this person and called for this service as a gift.

Hopefully it was a mistake and some other person is paying for a service they did not get. Could also be someone who did something nice for him without wanting to be thanked.
