Hot on the heels of the SMEG kitchen knives collection, Coles has revealed its latest collectibles range – leakproof glass containers and a manual vacuum pump to keep everything sealed and fresh!

The six Curtis Stone Glass Containers are available for free by using Glass Container Credits, collected by spending $20 or more in one transaction and scanning your Flybuys.

The containers are made from borosilicate glass designed for easy storage and stacking in the fridge, freezer and pantry – and you can also collect a manual vacuum pump that extracts air to create a vacuum seal.

You’ll be able to start earning credits from Wednesday, 19th March and you’ll be able to redeem them for the containers in store and online.

Coles will also be offering a half credits, half pay option.

The collection can be safely used in ovens (containers up to 230 °C and glass jug up to 140°C), microwaves (up to 1200W) and air fryers (containers up to 230 °C and glass jug up to 140°C).

The leak-proof glass containers, and the leak-proof jug, also have a handy date dial to keep track of stored leftovers. They are also BPA-free, freezer-safe (to -20°C), and dishwasher-safe (excluding the vacuum pump).

Will you be collecting the containers? Let us know in the comments below.

  • I was so disappointed with the Smeg knife promotion as I had enough credits for two knifes but they were out of stock at least three weeks before the promotion ended. I even checked nearby stores, but no luck. 🙁 If I do build up enough credits for a product, I will be collecting it quickly.

  • Not that I will be able to redeem much as being now on my own I eat a lot less and my tight budget means I spend less as well. But this is a collectible well worth trying. Just wish my points squandered on the Harry Potter collection which I didn’t bother to take up could have been rolled over to this delightful collection. Glass is always so much better.

  • Now these look so good and way much better then some of there other promotions they have had. Only trouble is you have to spend a certain amount to even gets those points which means you intend to buy and spend more which is not good for your budget might buy some more chocolate this weeks shopping hahaa

  • I am avoiding Coles at present for ethical reasons, but I will admit that these look like they’re among the better collectibles that have been made available.

  • If I manage to get enough points for these items I will certainly give it a go but often I find I dont get enough points or by the time I do the items I want are no longer available and the points just go to waste. So far i have 1 point.

  • I do like the practical type of promotions far better too than the toys and cards. House hold stuff is always needed and over the years I’ve also set quite a bit apart for when my teenagers will leave the house, so they have something to start with. I don’t expect to be able to collect the whole set, but am happy with anything I can collect.

  • The amount of points needed to obtain the glass containers seems quite reasonable and we already received bonus points. We really do love the practical promotions from Coles and other stores. Glass containers are so practical and we use them all of the time for storing food and when cooking.

  • This would be a perfect set of cantainers to collect but impossible for me. I would have to do a 600km round trip to start collecting and I’m sure the deal won’t last for 12 months. It can be frustrating at times to live so far away from a town.

  • I am keen for this offer from Coles. Containers are always being used and going missing in our home so any saving to replace them is appreciated. The collections offered by Coles are always of such a high quality that it encourages me to continue to shop at Coles (even though sometimes its the furthest supermarket!)

  • This is a great collectible and yes I am keen to collect these glass containers. I prefer glass containers above plastic. Glass containers are non porous and you can heat them better without the risk of chemical affecting your food. These may be good to store your fruit away in the fridge, they’re also easier to stack then round jars.

  • These sound like a great idea. They are a little similar to one Woolworths did a while back but have some extra features like the date dial. I like the idea of them and would likely use them, but the biggest problem with these promotions is with the amount of points required, it’s impossible for me to ever collect a set.

  • I got through so many Tupperware type containers in our house. These actually look great quality and I would definitely use them. Ill be collecting these for sure! I didn’t even know they were doing this at Coles yet but I’ll keep my eye out now for them in my next shop

  • What an amazing way to use flybuys points! The range looks excellent and the ones given out in previous years are of exceptional quality. Looking forward to seeing the range in store soon! Perfect containers for meal prepping. Very handy to have leak proof containers too. Thanks Mom – great read.

  • Athough I am not shopping at Coles at present, I do think these promotions are much better than the ones involving small toys or cards. My kids have really only engaged with two of those, but household stuff is far more useful and – as others have said – sustainable too.

  • Im a coles shopper and I love earning these points to get “free” useful products. These glass containers will be perfect for all the cooking and storing I do. Finally can get rid of my miss matched plastic tuppaware. With all the money I spend each week at Coles it will be nice to get these FREE

  • I like to see these practical items in their bonus programs. Useful and sturdy. I no longer shop at Coles very often so I’ll have to stick with the ones I have. Sometimes I get these free items and don’t really need them. I still cash them in and donate to the Salvos.

  • I’ve been waiting to see what Coles were going to offer and I’m so pleased with the glass containers offer. I’ve been getting rid of the plastic containers and need more glass ones. Such a great way to obtain items with the point system.

  • Hooray. Something that’s actually collectible that sustainable. Not something that a child is interested in for 5 seconds. Parents are being rewarded for being a loyal customer. Great to see I can order them online too. Coles finally got it right. I think giving away knives are all the stabbings was a wrong move.

  • These are really great!!! So much better than the Harry Potter discs which will all end up in the rubbish if they havent already. I’m definitely looking forward to collecting these. Love that you can use them in the oven, fridge and freezer and they actually look like they’re really good quality too!

  • Love when they do these promos instead of stupid plastic or cardboard toys !!!
