A lovely buttered roast, served with carrots, onions and potatoes. For dessert..hot apple pie and vanilla bean ice cream. That’s his favourite meal! Plus, we’ll let him off from the washing up!

Today we watched Dad open his presents, he had fun trying while the rest of us giggled and laughed cause we used a whole roll of sticky tape and he couldn’t get it open! The rest of the day we played games, enjoyed his company and had a BBQ Dinner.

Mow the lawns, do his laundry, cook a feast and make sure this house’s “dad” stays with feet up!

I am going to drive to my parents house, give Dad him his presents and his $50 then say goodbye to him as he leaves with his mates to go to the pub

Not to much actually, girls are with their farther.
They were probably decorating chocolate gingerbread men, making sandwiches, and having a picnic at the park or beach. Or they may have gone to the movies–that one’s a bit of a Dad staple.

We had a great day sharing a trip to the football to watch Dad’s favourite team win!

A family BBQ brunch with champagne,
Then when grandad becomes a pain;
We walk up to the park,
And play cricket until it gets dark!

A delicious, full English breakfast in bed where dad looked at the beautiful drawings our little ones had prepared as well as their gifts! We then went to the beach to enjoy a delicious beach lunch followed by a game of beach cricket! Dinner will be at his favourite steakhouse!

A special Father’s Day lunch to celebrate all the wonderful Dads in our family, from Great Grandfathers, Grandfathers and Dad, we are blessed to have so many generations of amazing dads.

Starting with presents in bed, then coffee and rusks (good South African morning snack!) we will celebrate my husbands 2nd Fathers Day. We will make brekkie and then go for a long walk before coming back for a nap whilst the toddler naps! Just slow and relaxing!

I plan to give something special to my special neighbour that treats me like his own daughter.
