There are few things more universal than the power of a good meal. For Nikki Hills, CEO of Upriva, feeding people is more than just something she enjoys. In her words, it’s her love language.

And this November, she’s putting that love of cooking to very good use.

Nikki will be swapping her usual desk for an apron when she joins hundreds of CEOs from across Australia for the OzHarvest CEO CookOff in Sydney, helping raise funds to support Australians experiencing food insecurity.

Nikki has set herself a fundraising goal of $5,000, with every $1 raised helping OzHarvest provide two meals to people doing it tough.

And because Nikki is happiest in the kitchen, she’s decided that the fundraising shouldn’t stop there.

Help decide what Nikki should cook!

Over the next few weeks, Nikki will be cooking up a selection of OzHarvest recipes from her own kitchen, filming the results and sharing them with us.

And she wants to you help choose what she cooks!

OzHarvest has a whole collection of recipes designed to make delicious, practical meals from everyday ingredients, and Nikki wants to hand the decision over to the Mouths of Mums community.

Cooking, sharing and giving back

The CEO CookOff brings business leaders together with professional chefs to cook meals for people experiencing food insecurity, while raising vital funds for OzHarvest.

For Nikki, it’s a pretty perfect combination.

“Anyone who knows me knows my love language is Acts of Service … more specifically FEEDING everyone!” she says.

So consider the recipe series her warm-up for the big event. She’ll be cooking, sharing and hopefully raising a few more meals along the way.
